Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Shut out Thursday
Hodgins failed to catch his only target in a Week 3 loss to San Francisco on Thursday.
Hodgins was on the field for two-thirds of New York's offensive snaps, but he got only one target. The wideout hauled in a touchdown against Arizona in Week 2 but has notched just one catch over his other two games combined. The pecking order among Giants receivers continues to be unsettled and was further complicated Thursday by the season debut of Wan'Dale Robinson, who caught four of five targets for 21 yards. Head coach Brian Daboll has shown a willingness in the past to shake up the receiver depth chart based on individual performance, so Hodgins could begin to lose playing time if he doesn't amp up his production.

Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Finds end zone Sunday
Hodgins caught four of five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Cardinals.
After a quiet season debut marred by a lost fumble, Hodgins came up big for the Giants in a comeback win, hauling in an 11-yard TD strike from Daniel Jones late in the fourth quarter that tied the game at 28-28 and completed a comeback from a first-half 20-0 deficit, setting the stage for Graham Gano's game-winning field goal with 19 seconds left. Hodgins was one of four New York wideouts with multiple catches Sunday -- Parris Campbell, Darius Slayton and rookie Jalin Hyatt were the others -- and the team's crowded depth chart could prevent any one WR from truly breaking out. Hodgins and the others will take on a 49ers secondary Thursday night that just got torched for 15 catches and 147 yards by Rams rookie Puka Nacua.

Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Fumbles away only catch
Hodgins caught one of three targets for 24 yards and lost a fumble against the Cowboys in a blowout Week 1 loss Sunday.
Hodgins and Parris Campbell were the two receivers on the field for the Giants on their first offensive possession, with Darren Waller at tight end and Daniel Bellinger at fullback. That suggested Hodgins' place atop the wideout pecking order, but it didn't lead to much production, as he logged just one reception in the loss. That catch was a 24-yarder in the third quarter that he subsequently fumbled away to Dallas. There won't be many positive takeaways from this performance for New York, and Hodgins actually ranked second on the team with his 24 receiving yards, so chances are that he'll be on the field to open next Sunday's game in Arizona as the Giants look to reset following the embarrassing season-opening defeat.
