Anthony Tyus: Cut from Hawks' practice squad
The Seahawks cut Tyus from the practice squad Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
The move makes room on the Seahawks' practice squad for linebacker Chris Paul. Tyus failed to make Seattle's 53-man roster at the end of training camp after logging 21 carries for 55 yards and one catch (on two targets) for two yards across three preseason games. The undrafted rookie will look to catch on with another team's practice squad.

Tyus rushed six times for 23 yards in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie versus the Raiders.
Tyus initially signed as an undrafted rookie with the Lions but was cut in July before joining the Seahawks. The Ohio product didn't play until the fourth quarter of Thursday's game. He looks like a longshot to make the 53-man roster with five other running backs ahead of him on the depth chart.
