Giants' Saquon Barkley: Doubtful for Monday
Barkley (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Monday's contest against the Seahawks, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Head coach Brian Daboll left the door open Saturday for Barkley to make a quick return despite a reported high-ankle sprain, but it appears as if the Pro Bowl back will not play Monday after a smattering of LP tags throughout the week. As a result, Matt Breida figures to be set up for a prominent role against Seattle, with Gary Brightwell likely also mixing into the rotation.

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Practicing again
Barkley (ankle) is practicing Friday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
The report notes that Barkley was "moving pretty well" during individual drills in his second day back on the practice field. He returned Thursday as a limited participant and seems to be making a bid to play in Monday's game against Seattle, though it'll nonetheless be surprising if he upgrades from limited to full Friday.

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Limited in practice again
Barkley (ankle) was a limited practice participant Friday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Barkley now has back-to-back LP tags under his belt as he tries to avoid a second game absence this Monday against Seattle. Wise or not, the Giants being 1-2 in a tough division may be a factor here, as players typically miss multiple games after suffering high-ankle sprains. The most likely outcome at this point is a 'questionable' tag on the final injury report Saturday, with Barkley then being viewed as a game-time decision ahead of the MNF kickoff.

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Getting in on-field work Thursday
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Barkley (ankle) is set to take part in individual work during Thursday's practice, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Daboll didn't specify whether Barkley's activity will be enough to constitute limited participation in practice, but clarity on that front will arrive when the Giants release their first Week 4 injury report later Thursday. Barkley hasn't practiced in any fashion since suffering a right high-ankle sprain late in the Giants' Week 2 win over the Cardinals. The star running back appears to be making steady progress in his recovery, however, and if he's able to ramp up the intensity of his workouts over the next few days, he has a chance at being available for Monday's game against the Seahawks.

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Limited in first Week 4 practice
Barkley (ankle) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Although head coach Brian Daboll acknowledged prior to the session that Barkley was scheduled to take part in individual drills for the first time since suffering a right ankle sprain Week 2 versus the Cardinals, the running back apparently felt well enough to take at least some additional reps with the team. Barkley's limited participation Thursday doesn't guarantee his availability for Monday's game against the Seahawks, as the Giants will continue to monitor his health over the final two practices of Week 4 before updating his status. While Barkley was sidelined for last Thursday's loss to the 49ers, the Giants ended up abandoning the run early, resulting in fill-in starter Matt Breida being limited to just four carries despite playing 80 percent of the snaps on offense.
