Panthers' Yosh Nijman: Moving to Carolina
Nijman signed a contract with the Panthers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Nijman has spent the last four seasons with the Packers working as a reserve offensive tackle. The Virginia Tech product's move to Carolina will likely see him in a similar role behind current projected starters Taylor Moton and Ikem Ekwonu.

Nijman missed practice Wednesday but was able to close out the week with back-to-back limited practices. The 27-year-old should continue to hold down the left tackle spot for the Packers against Pittsburgh.

Nijman (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Though Nijman didn't practice Wednesday, he was able to log a limited session Thursday and now has a chance to play this Sunday. If the 27-year-old is unable to suit up this weekend, Rasheed Walker is expected to step in as Green Bay's left tackle.

The 27-year-old offensive lineman left the Packers' Week 8 loss to the Vikings with a foot injury, but he was able to log limited practice sessions all week, and it seems that he's moved past the issue. Nijman replaced the struggling Rasheed Walker last Sunday, and now that he has no injury designation for Week 9, he has a chance to take over Green Bay's starting left tackle role.

Packers' Yosh Nijman: Could play Week 9
Nijman (foot) told reporters Monday that he left Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings due to hitting a pain threshold and doesn't anticipate it being a problem for Week 9 against the Rams, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Nijman was subbed in at left tackle for Rasheed Walker with the latter struggling against the Vikings' defensive line. Nijman injured his foot when he landed awkwardly on a field-goal block, but he was able to stay in the game until the pain was too much to handle. He ended up playing 50 snaps Sunday and could take over as the starting left tackle if he's able to manage his foot injury; otherwise, Walker would be set to return to that role.

Nijman agreed to terms with the Packers on his one-year tender Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Nijman was a restricted free agent and now will officially be back with Green Bay for the upcoming campaign. The 27-year-old had the best season of his career in 2022 as he started 13 games, and Nijman will look to help hold down the right side of the line for the Packers once again in the fall.

Nijman received a second-round restricted free agent tender from the Packers on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Nijman is slated to earn $4.3 million in 2023, coming off a 2022 season in which he made 17 appearances and eight starts. The 27-year-old is expected to be the team's starting right tackle during the upcoming campaign.
