  • Bills' La'el Collins: Agrees to terms with Buffalo

The Bills signed Collins on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

The veteran offensive lineman spent the first seven seasons of his career with Dallas and Cincinnati, and he's now headed to Buffalo to help protect Josh Allen. Collins missed all of last year due to a knee injury, but across his seven-year NFL career, he's appeared in 89 games and made 86 starts. The 30-year-old is expected to compete for the Bills' starting right tackle position as the offseason progresses.

The Cowboys signed Collins to the practice squad Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport reported earlier Tuesday that Collins worked out with the Cowboys. He was cut by the Bengals on Sept. 12 after spending time on the reserve/PUP list due to a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee. Collins passed his physical Sept. 25 and will return to Dallas, which signed the tackle out of LSU as an undrafted free agent back in 2015.

  • La'el Collins: Gets look from Dallas

Collins received a tryout with the Cowboys on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Collins spent the first six seasons of his career in Dallas, before joining the Bengals as a free agent during the 2022 offseason. However, after sustaining tears in his ACL and MCL, the veteran offensive tackle was released Sept. 12 and has remained a free agent since. Now healthy, Collins has been working to find a new home and may end up back at an old one, where he'd likely start as a member of the Cowboys' practice squad if he can earn a deal.

Collins sustained a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee in Week 16 of the 2022 season. He was placed on the Bengals' reserve/PUP list on Aug. 29 but was released two weeks later. Collins spent six seasons with the Cowboys before joining the Bengals in March 2022 on a three-year, $22 million contract and will look for a team in need of offensive line help for the rest of the year.

  • Bengals' La'el Collins: Sticking on PUP list

The Bengals moved Collins (knee) to the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Collins suffered ACL and MCL tears in his left knee in Week 16 last year, and he was placed on the active/PUP list to begin training camp in June. The 30-year-old will now remain sidelined until at least Week 5 of the 2023 campaign. In Collins' absence, fellow veteran Jonah Williams should step in at right tackle now that Orlando Brown, who signed with Cincinnati this offseason, will slot in at left tackle.
