Lions' Crezdon Butler: Signs with Detroit
Butler signed a contract with the Lions on Wednesday.
Butler, who was released by the Lions after the preseason, appeared in eight games with the team last season. He'll add depth to the defensive backfield for the Week 17 matchup with the Packers along with a possible playoff run, but don't expect him to see many snaps. Defensive tackle Stefan Charles (knee) was moved to IR to open up a roster spot for Butler.

Butler re-signed with the Lions on Friday.
Butler signed with the Lions half-way through the season after being cut during training camp during the offseason last year. He played in eight games last season, totaling three tackles. The terms of the contract were not disclosed.
