After gaining over 300 yards on the ground in his last two games, Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw may have suffered a setback. Bradshaw was listed on the team’s injury report Wednesday with an issue in one of his surgically repaired feet. He's had procedures on both over the last few years, but coach Tom Coughlin didn't specify which foot was presently injured.

Coughlin did say that the Giants’ top running back will not practice on Wednesday but should be active on Thursday.

Bradshaw only practiced once a week last year, in order to rest the foot injury, but Coughlin wasn’t ready to concede that would happen again in 2012.

“I don't want to go into that one-practice-a-week business we had,” Coughlin said of Bradshaw, who is up for his second consecutive FedEx Ground Player of the Week.

The injury news didn’t end there for the Giants.

Coughlin said defensive tackle Chris Canty will practice on Wednesday. Canty began the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list because of lingering issues following offseason knee surgery. The Giants took Canty off PUP on Monday, which gives him a 21-day window to be placed back on the active roster. Coughlin did not rule out Canty playing Sunday against the Washington Redskins, which is good because defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quad) was not scheduled to practice Wednesday.

Also, linebacker Jacquian Williams (knee) is not likely to practice this week, Coughlin said, and running back and special teamer Da’Rel Scott underwent a right knee debridement to repair a meniscus at the Hospital for Special Surgery on Tuesday.

There is some good news for the Giants. Cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring), CB Michael Coe (hamstring), LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), S Antrel Rolle (knee), RG Chris Snee (hip) and RT David Diehl (knee) all came off the injury report.

The Giants injury report still includes LB Michael Boley (hip), RB Andre Brown (concussion), WR Hakeem Nicks (knee/foot), S Kenny Phillips (knee) and CB Corey Webster (hand/hamstring). Brown has been cleared to return to practice, and while Coughlin said Phillips is “progressing,” he is not quite ready to return.
