2023 NFL free agency and trade tracker, live updates: Latest rumors, signings and moves throughout Week 2

We are about two weeks through NFL free agency with all the offseason moves and trades it brings, but there is still plenty to figure out. When will the Aaron Rodgers trade officially happen? Is Odell Beckham Jr. close to signing with a new club? And when will a potential suitor approach Lamar Jackson? We also have to keep an eye on DeAndre Hopkins, as the Arizona Cardinals wideout is expected to be traded sometime this offseason.

Maybe the big wave of signings has come and gone, but with the draft right around the corner, all 32 teams are continuing to explore the market to fill out rosters for the summer. There are still plenty of intriguing players out there looking for new deals.

As we continue to follow along on this Friday, here's a rundown of what you need to know:

We've got you covered during this free agent period. In our live blog below, you'll see every important rumor and signing that goes down over this stretch.

"I love Green Bay. I love the people. I love so many people in that town. I'm not upset about it. I have love for every Packer fan and that organization.

"Jordan Love is a f---in great kid. I got so many great friends on that team. Listen to the language" - Rodgers on GB (he's pivoting now).

"The Packers would like to move on. They let me know that in so many words. I still have that fire and I wanna play." - Aaron Rodgers on going to the Jets

Since Friday I made it clear that my intention was to play and my intention is to play for the New York Jets" -- Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers basically ripping the Packers for wanting him to retire and drafting Jordan Love.

"I went into the darkness 90% retiring. 10% playing." - Aaron Rodgers

"When i came out of the darkness, something changed. I realized there have been a little bit of a shift. The Packers were interested in trading me. When I went in the darkness, I was 90% retired -- 10% playing."

No one whats to hear Aaron Rodgers life story, which is what he's doing. Nothing of substance in this show so far.

"I will say this. This isn't a decision day. This isn't me announcing what's going on. This is me clearing this up. The decision has already happened. Coming on the show was never going to announce something." -- Aaron Rodgers on Pat McAfee

Aaron Rodgers just said this isn't a ''decision day.''

This is exhausting. The trade has reportedly been agreed upon, but Rodgers loves the attention.

While it's time for Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Poyer is coming back to the Bills. C.J. Gardner-Johnson is the best safety remaining on the market and the Eagles are in discussions with him. We'll see if he comes back to Philly.

Jordan Poyer is returning to Buffalo. Big news for the Bills after they cleared a bunch of cap space.

It's almost time for Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee show. Just about five minutes.

Aaron Rodgers is going to announce his decision on Pat McAfee right? He has to at this point.

Some information on the Darius Slay release by the Eagles

He wanted a guaranteed deal. The Eagles wanted to restructure. They couldn't come to terms on a restructured deal.

Slay was released to save a significant amount of cap space with a post-June 1 release. The Eagles have James Bradberry in tow and are pushing to re-sign C.J. Gardner-Johnson. They're in talks.

Another new city for Baker Mayfield

The Cowboys appear set to release Ezekiel Elliott soon. In case you're wondering how Elliott has declined, check these numbers out:

Steelers add a FA to their ILB corps. Pittsburgh needed to fill this spot with Devin Bush entering free agency.

Jamaal Williams is going to be a steal in free agency.

Williams had 262 carries for 1066 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and 17 touchdowns. He produced the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his career and the first 1,000-rushing season for a Lions player since Reggie Bush in 2013. Williams also led the league with 17 rushing touchdowns, setting the Lions' franchise record for most rushing touchdowns in a season. He has rushed for 50-plus yards in 10 straight games, the longest active streak in the NFL.

Couple of night signings to report, 49ers pass-rusher Charles Omenihu is expected to sign with the Chiefs as the rich get richer. According to NFL Media he gets a 2-year deal worth $20M max value.

David Montgomery is switching NFC Noth teams as he agrees to deal with the Lions.

NFL Media reports that Adam Thielen is expected to visit the Panthers on Wednesday.

The Eagles are essentially paying Rashaad Penny $2 million. He averaged 6.2 YPC over the last two seasons.

Penny is betting on himself for another deal -- a bigger one. We saw how that worked for James Bradberry in Philly.

Don't know if Bradberry and Darius Slay will be together in 2023 at this time, but would be ideal for the Eagles.

James Bradberry is back with the Eagles, but there's more toward his return. Bradberry told CBS Sports he took a discount to remain in Philly and the Eagles and his camp were in talks toward getting a deal done all day.

It's a long process, but Bradberry wanted to be there.
