2023 NFL free agency and trade tracker, live updates: Latest rumors, signings and moves throughout Week 2

We are about two weeks through NFL free agency with all the offseason moves and trades it brings, but there is still plenty to figure out. When will the Aaron Rodgers trade officially happen? Is Odell Beckham Jr. close to signing with a new club? And when will a potential suitor approach Lamar Jackson? We also have to keep an eye on DeAndre Hopkins, as the Arizona Cardinals wideout is expected to be traded sometime this offseason.

Maybe the big wave of signings has come and gone, but with the draft right around the corner, all 32 teams are continuing to explore the market to fill out rosters for the summer. There are still plenty of intriguing players out there looking for new deals.

As we continue to follow along on this Friday, here's a rundown of what you need to know:

We've got you covered during this free agent period. In our live blog below, you'll see every important rumor and signing that goes down over this stretch.

One name to keep an eye on Friday is Odell Beckham Jr., who is slated to hold a workout for teams in Arizona. Beckham did not work out for teams when he was making his free agent tour last season, so this will be an opportunity for him to show clubs he's fully recovered from that torn ACL he suffered roughly 13 months ago. The New York Giants are among the teams expected to be in attendance for Beckham's workout.

The Niners got some positive news with quarterback Brock Purdy after he underwent successful elbow surgery on Friday. According to NFL Media, Purdy is expected to begin throwing in three months, with an expected recovery in six months.

The Titans are continuing their purge of the roster as they've now released veteran center Ben Jones after seven seasons with the team. This comes after Tennessee has released a number of high-profile players, including left tackle Taylor Lewan, so they will be looking at a very different offensive line in 2023.

In New Orleans, the Saints already made a major move by signing Derek Carr. However, there is still some quarterback issues to hammer out behind him. According to ESPN, the Saints have offered a restructured contract to Jameis Winston, but have given him a deadline of Wednesday to agree to it. If he doesn't he'll be released.

Speaking of the Eagles, Brandon Graham will return to the organization, agreeing to a one-year deal on Friday that is worth up to $6 million. Graham is coming off a season where he finished with a career-high 11 sacks. This will be season No. 14 for Graham in Philly.

The NFC Champion Eagles could be looking at massive turnover in their secondary this offseason. On top of James Bradberry and C.J. Gardner-Johnson slated to hit free agency, ESPN reports that Philadelphia is allowing Darius Slay and his representation to seek a trade.

One of the more notable transactions of the day came in Minnesota as the Vikings released veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen. The former Pro Bowl pass catcher now enters the open market after nine seasons with the Vikings. Releasing Thielen freed up $6.4 million in space for Minnesota.

Naturally, teams need to clear up cap space before the start of the new league year to get compliant with the salary cap and have enough room to sign free agents. Already, we've seen teams free up significant space.

Miami reworked the contracts of Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead, and Bradley Chubb to clear over $44 million in space for the Dolphins. Also, the Dallas Cowboys restructured the contracts of Dak Prescott and Zack Martin to trim roughly $30 million off their salary cap number for 2023.

It's already been a busy Friday across the NFL as we lead up to the start of the legal tampering period. Let's start, of course, with Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets' pursuit of the Packers QB. Earlier this week, Jets brass met with the four-time NFL MVP, and now cornerback Sauce Gardner is burning a cheesehead as a recruiting effort to bring him to East Rutherford. Whatever works, I guess.
