  • Andre Iguodala: Announces retirement

Iguodala announced his retirement from professional basketball Friday, Marc Spears of ESPN reports. The veteran forward played in just eight games last season due to wrist and hip injuries, and he won't attempt to make a return for the 2023-24 campaign. Iguodala, who will turn 40 years old in January, played in 1,231 games across 19 seasons in the NBA, and he averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists while spending time with the 76ers, Warriors, Heat and Nuggets.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Expected to practice next week

Iguodala (wrist surgery) has been cleared to intensify on-court workouts and should return to team practices in about a week. Iguodala suffered a fractured left wrist March 13 and underwent a corrective procedure. The veteran wing was given a two-week timetable to return on April 22 but looks to be behind that schedule. Though it seems that Iguodala will be sidelined for the remainder of the Western Conference Semifinals, he could have a shot at returning for the next round if the Warriors advance.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Out at least two more weeks

Iguodala (wrist) has started progressive rehab and will be re-evaluated again in two weeks. Iguodala had the splint on his left wrist removed and could be cleared to begin light ball handling and shooting drills in the next 7-to-10 days. The veteran forward may be able to return this postseason if the Warriors can make a deep run.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Not close to return

Coach Steve Kerr said Wednesday that Iguodala (wrist) is "ways off" from returning and his next update will come on April 21, Kerith Burke of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Iguodala hasn't been able to practice and has been sidelined since March 13 due to a left wrist injury. Unless the Warriors can replicate their championship run from last season, it seems unlikely the veteran forward will be suiting up this postseason.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Shut down for regular season

The Warriors announced Iguodala underwent successful surgery on his left wrist Monday and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. The four-week timeline rules Iguodala out for the remainder of the regular season, and because he may need time to regain conditioning once cleared to practice, he could be sidelined for the start of the playoffs as well. When healthy, Iguodala has been a lightly used member of the rotation, so his continued absence shouldn't open up major minutes for any other players.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Headed for surgery for broken wrist

Iguodala suffered a fractured left wrist in Monday's 123-112 win over the Suns and is set to undergo surgery, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Warriors haven't yet provided a timeline for Iguodala's return, but he'll most likely be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season, and it wouldn't be surprising to see his absence extend into the playoffs. Iguodala was averaging minutes in the lower teens for Golden State, so while the Warriors will miss his on-court presence, his absence won't make many ripples in fantasy basketball.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Listed as out Wednesday

Iguodala (wrist) is listed out Wednesday against the Clippers. The veteran has appeared in five straight games for Golden State, so a maintenance day was inevitable. Luckily for the Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) appears to be ready to make his return to the rotation.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Available to play

Iguodala (hip) will be available to play Monday against the Suns, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Iguodala should be available for his usual minutes in the teens off the bench, which isn't enough floor time to produce for fantasy hoops.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Probable Monday

Iguodala (right hip soreness) is probable for Monday's game against the Suns. Iguodala should be available to make an impact off of Golden State's bench Monday evening, but he won't be on the floor enough to impact fantasy hoops.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Cleared for Saturday

Iguodala (hip) has been cleared for Saturday against the Bucks. With Andrew Wiggins (personal) still without a timetable and Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) banged up, Iguodala will likely be called upon more often by coach Steve Kerr.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Likely to play Saturday

Iguodala is probable for Saturday's game versus the Bucks due to right hip soreness. Iguodala is expected to play in his fourth straight game Saturday despite dealing with a nagging hip injury. However, he has scored only two total points in his last three outings, so he shouldn't get much fantasy consideration.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Poor production continues

Iguodala closed Thursday's 131-110 loss to the Grizzlies with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound, four assists and two steals over 18 minutes. Iguodala played in his third straight game, although that's really where the positives end. A shell of his former self, Iguodala is really nothing more than a veteran presence, mentoring the younger players in the locker room. It's hard to see him having any sort of tangible impact, so he should remain on waivers in all formats moving forward.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Available vs. Memphis

Iguodala (hip) is available for Thursday's game against the Grizzlies. Iguodala was probable ahead of Thursday's matchup and will officially be able to suit up for a third consecutive game. Over his last two appearances, he's averaged just 1.0 points and 2.5 assists in 13.0 minutes per game.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Expected to play Thursday

Iguodala is probable for Thursday's game versus Memphis due to right hip soreness. Iguodala is likely to suit up for the third straight game despite dealing with a hip injury. However, he is averaging just 1.0 points, 2.5 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 13.0 minutes across his last two appearances, so his status shouldn't mean much from a fantasy standpoint other than siphoning some minutes from other players.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Good to go Tuesday

Iguoadala (hip) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Thunder. Iguodala has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday with a hip injury. However, the veteran forward has yet to score more than five points in his four appearances this season.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Probable Tuesday

Iguodala (hip) is probable to play Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Iguodala probably won't see minutes outside the teens Tuesday, so he can't be viewed as a viable target in most fantasy formats. Leave him on the wire.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Fails to score in 14 minutes

Iguodala (hip) ended Sunday's 113-105 loss to the Lakers with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two assists and one block across 14 minutes. Iguodala played for just the fourth time this season, offering little statistical impact during his 14 minutes on the floor. While he provides the Warriors with a solid veteran presence, he's nowhere close to being a fantasy consideration at this stage of his career.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Will play Sunday

Iguodala (hip) will play Sunday against the Lakers. This will be just the fourth appearance Iguodala has made for Golden State this season, and considering he's been out since January, he'll likely have some minutes restrictions. He's not a great target in most formats, but his return will likely result in fewer minutes for Anthony Lamb and other frontcourt options.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Likely to play Sunday

Iguodala (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Lakers. Iguodala hasn't played since Jan. 13 as he nursed an ongoing issue in his right hip but appears slated to return to the hardwood Sunday. With Andrew Wiggins (personal) ruled out, Iguodala could be in line for a larger workload, though he could be facing some limitations given the lengthy absence.

  • Warriors' Andre Iguodala: Still out Friday

Iguodala (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pelicans. Iguodala hasn't suited up since mid-January and will miss yet another game Friday. His next opportunity to return will be Sunday against the Lakers, although a timetable for his return isn't yet clear.
