  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Retreating to bench Saturday

Robinson-Earl is not in the Pelicans' starting lineup against the Hornets on Saturday. Robinson-Earl made his sixth start of the regular season Friday against the Grizzlies, and he finished with five points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals over 20 minutes in a 139-126 loss. He'll go back to a reserve role Saturday while Zion Williamson (illness) returns to the Pelicans' starting five.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Starting vs. Memphis

Robinson-Earl is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports. As has often been the case this season, Robinson-Earl is in the starting unit in place of Zion Williamson (illness). The former Villanova standout averages 9.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game when deployed as a starter.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Fills box score Friday

Robinson-Earl ended Friday's 136-123 win over Utah with eight points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 21 minutes. Robinson-Earl filled the box score for the Pelicans on Friday, putting up his highest scoring output since a nine-point showing in the Dec. 26 loss to Houston. However, it was veteran big man Daniel Theis who got the starting nod at center in the absence of Yves Missi, meaning Robinson-Earl likely remains quite far off from fantasy relevance. Robinson-Earl hasn't attained double-digit points or boards since a Nov. 27 defeat to Toronto.

Robinson-Earl will come off the bench in Friday's game against the 76ers. Javonte Green will supplant Robinson-Earl in the starting lineup Friday. Over his last five outings (one start), the big man has averaged 3.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per contest.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Muted impact in spot start

Robinson-Earl logged two points (1-1 FG), four rebounds and two assists across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 119-100 loss to Portland. Robinson-Earl made his fifth start of the season in place of the resting Zion Williamson, but each of New Orleans' starters didn't receive their usual quota of playing time due to Wednesday's rout. Over five starting appearances, Robinson-Earl is averaging 9.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 threes in 30.6 minutes. With the statuses of Trey Murphy (ankle) and Herbert Jones (shoulder) uncertain for Friday's contest against Philadelphia, Robinson-Earl may be needed for another spot start.

Robinson-Earl has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday after missing New Orleans' previous two contests due to a left ankle sprain. • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Double-double off bench

Robinson-Earl ended Wednesday's 119-93 loss to Toronto with 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes off the bench. The fourth-year big has two double-doubles on the season, and they've both come in the last three games. Wednesday's performance came as a result of Trey Murphy (knee) joining Zion Williamson (hamstring) on the sidelines, and Robinson-Earl could continue to see a bigger role until the New Orleans frontcourt gets healthier. He's played at least 20 minutes in 13 straight games, averaging 10.0 points, 7.1 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.2 threes and 1.0 steals in 27.2 minutes a game over that stretch.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Moves back to bench role Wednesday

Robinson-Earl is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers. This is not a surprising move, as Robinson-Earl will head back to the bench due to the return of Zion Williamson (thigh) to the starting lineup. Robinson-Earl is averaging 14.5 minutes per game this season, and his fantasy upside should be close to minimal now that he's returned to a second-unit role.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Strong two-way play Monday

Robinson-Earl produced 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes during Monday's 118-100 loss to Portland. With Jordan Hawkins (back) and Zion Williamson (thigh/hamstring) getting ruled out ahead of the game and joining Herbert Jones (shoulder), Trey Murphy (hamstring), Dejounte Murray (hand) and CJ McCollum (thigh) in street clothes, Robinson-Earl made his first start of the campaign. The veteran missed just two shots from the field and made his presence on the glass, although his contributions weren't enough for a depleted Pelicans team that looked outmatched. Even if he remains in a starting role, Robinson-Earl is nothing more than a low-end streaming alternative in most formats.

Robinson-Earl had his best game of the season Wednesday, posting his highest totals in points, rebounds, assists and minutes. However, the 24-year-old big man has averaged only 9.8 minutes per contest, making it hard to produce consistent fantasy performances.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Available for Game 4

Robinson-Earl (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder, Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans reports. Robinson-Earl racked up zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 117-108 loss to the Magic. Robinson-Earl put up a bag full of nothing in the loss, continuing his underwhelming season. He is well outside the top 400 this season, playing in just 34 games. With no clear path to minutes, there is no reason to think his role will change, making him a non-factor in all formats.
