Mann (illness) ended Tuesday's 112-92 loss to Orlando with 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 29 minutes. Mann was a late addition to Tuesday's injury report due to a non-COVID illness, but he was good to go for the game. It was only the fourth time in his 15 games with the Hornets that Mann played less than 30 minutes, but that was due to Charlotte being down by as many as 41 points. Mann and the Hornets will look to break out of their three-game losing streak against the Hawks on March 23.... See More ... See Less

Hornets' Tre Mann: Good to go Tuesday
Mann (illness) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Magic. Mann has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a non-COVID illness. Mann has averaged 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals in 33.4 minutes across his last five outings.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Dealing with illness
Mann is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Magic due to an illness. Mann is a late addition to the injury report, which is never a good sign. If Mann is sidelined Tuesday, Vasilije Micic would take on more usage out of the backcourt, while Nick Smith could be in store for an expanded role in the rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Hits for 21 against Sixers
Mann ended Saturday's 109-98 loss to Philadelphia with 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and four steals over 37 minutes. The 21 points tied Mann's best performance since joining the Hornets in the Gordon Hayward trade with the Thunder, and the four steals tied his career high. Mann has been producing solid numbers with his new team, averaging 12.2 points, 5.3 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 threes over 14 games for Charlotte in 31.3 minutes a contest.... Hornets' Tre Mann: Plays off-ball role in return
Mann (groin) tallied 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and two steals across 30 minutes Wednesday in the Hornets' 110-98 win over the Grizzlies. Before he had missed Charlotte's last three games with a left groin strain, Mann had been filling in as the Hornets' starting point guard in place of LaMelo Ball (ankle), but Mann moved into an off-ball role on the top unit Wednesday while Vasilije Micic served as the team's floor general. Though Mann still saw a healthy minutes count in his return, the role change may have had a hand in him coming up empty in the assist column, after he had averaged 4.7 assists per game in his previous 11 starts with Charlotte. Though Ball's return to game action doesn't appear to be imminent and his minutes shouldn't be affected, Mann's fantasy ceiling will be lower if he continues to play alongside Micic.... See More ... Hornets' Tre Mann: Gets starting nod
Mann is in the starting five for Wednesday's game game versus the Grizzlies. After missing Charlotte's last three contests with a groin injury, Mann will replace Grant Williams in the starting lineup Wednesday. Mann is averaging 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 30.9 minutes across his last 10 starting appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Available to play Wednesday
Mann (groin) will be available to play Wednesday against the Grizzlies. Mann is back after a three-game absence, and his return will likely result in fewer minutes for Vasilije Micic and Nick Smith. Mann had been playing well before going down, so make sure he's not floating around your waiver wire.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Iffy against Memphis
Mann (groin) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies. Mann is in danger of missing his fourth straight contest due to a left groin strain. If Mann is ruled out, Vasilije Micic will likely remain in the starting five.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Ruled out Monday
Mann (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pistons. Mann was unlikely to play Monday, so this latest update doesn't come as a surprise, and the former Florida standout will now miss a third consecutive game. Even though Mann had decent games in a starting role, he hasn't been setting the world on fire lately, averaging 11.6 points per game over his previous 11 contests. Expect Vasilije Micic to remain in the starting unit at point guard.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Unlikely to play Monday
Mann (groin) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Pistons. Mann will likely miss a third straight game due to a right groin strain. If he joins LaMelo Ball (ankle), Seth Curry (ankle), Cody Martin (ankle) and Bryce McGowens (knee) on the sidelines, Vasilije Micic and Nick Smith would be candidates for increased usage again.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Out again
Mann (groin) will not play in Saturday's matchup with the Nets. Mann's absence will mark his second straight due to a groin injury. Bryce McGowens (knee) would presumably be the prime beneficiary of Mann being out if he gets the green light, but Vasilije Micic and Nick Smith would be next in line should McGowens also be ruled out. Mann's next chance to play will come Monday versus the Pistons.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Ruled out against Washington
Mann (groin) won't play in Friday's game versus the Wizards. Mann has been downgraded from questionable to out Friday due to a right groin strain. Bryce McGowens will likely receive extended playing time in his absence. Mann's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Brooklyn.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Questionable for Friday
Mann is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Wizards due to a right groin strain. Mann is in danger of missing his first contest since Feb. 9 due to his right groin strain. If the 22-year-old guard is ruled out, Bryce McGowens will likely receive increased playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Stuffs stat sheet in loss Tuesday
Mann notched 18 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 101-89 loss to Orlando. Mann has been an absolute revelation in a starting role for the Hornets, as he continues to find ways to contribute on both ends of the court on a steady basis while making the most of his expanded role. Mann has started in 11 consecutive games for Charlotte, a span in which he's averaging 11.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.6 steals per contest. While he's not going to turn around a fantasy playoff matchup with his contributions, there's no question he should be rostered in multiple formats as long as he continues to play as a starter.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Scores season-high 21 points
Mann provided 21 points (7-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 122-99 win over Atlanta. Mann has started in each of Charlotte's last three games, but this was his best performance of the campaign by a wide margin, posting a season-high mark in points while also putting up solid numbers in peripheral categories. Mann was recently traded to the Hornets in the deal that sent Gordon Hayward to the Thunder, and he figures to see decent minutes in the backcourt, as least until LaMelo Ball (ankle) is able to return to action.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Versatile performance Monday
Mann racked up 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds and seven assists across 34 minutes during Monday's 111-102 win over the Pacers. Mann hasn't had to shake off much rust across two games with Charlotte after being traded from Oklahoma City on Thursday. The 23-year-old has stepped into a primary facilitating role, accumulating a 16:6 AST:TO ratio with his new franchise thus far. Mann logged only 119 minutes with Oklahoma City this season, so he's a candidate to continue improving down the stretch of the season as he settles into a consistent role.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Flirts with double-double in debut
Mann totaled nine points (4-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four rebounds, nine assists and two steals over 27 minutes during Saturday's 115-106 victory over the Grizzlies. Mann made his debut with Charlotte after being traded at the trade deadline, earning the start while tallying team-high-tying marks in assists and steals and ending one point and one dime shy of a double-double in a winning effort. The third-year guard set a season high in assists, surpassing his previous season high of four dimes, which has occurred twice this season. Mann has now tallied nine or more points in four outings, but this was his first as a starter.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Starting in debut
Mann will start Saturday's game versus the Grizzlies, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports. The Hornets will use Mann next to Cody Martin in the backcourt, and both players are likely to share ball-handling duties with Brandon Miller. Unlike in Oklahoma City, Mann is expected to get a lot of opportunities with his new team, and the Hornets aren't wasting any time with the decision to start him.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Available to make debut
Mann (recently traded) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the Grizzlies. Mann is available to make his Charlotte debut after being traded from the Thunder. However, it remains to be seen what role is given to the 22-year-old guard.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Tre Mann: Won't play Friday
Mann (recently traded) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Milwaukee. Mann was traded from the Thunder to the Hornets on Thursday and will be unable to debut for his new team a day later since his trade is pending. Whether he'll be available for Saturday's game against Memphis remains to be seen.... See More ... See Less
