The Pistons didn't re-sign Robinson after his 10-day contract expired Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Robinson made five appearances during his time with the Pistons, averaging 5.6 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 18.0 minutes. Though he'll most likely head to the G League for his next stop, Robinson may not have to wait long for his next NBA opportunity. He's already appeared in games for the Pistons, Kings and Bucks this season.... See More ... See Less

Pistons' Justin Robinson: Signs another 10-day contract
Robinson signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Pistons on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Robinson started the season with the Bucks and was waived at the end of November in favor of Javonte Smart. The Kings then signed him to a 10-day contract in mid-December, but he was once again let go after Sacramento returned to full strength. Now he lands in Detroit, who is currently without Killian Hayes, Cory Joseph and Saben Lee due to COVID-19 protocols. As long as those three remain sidelined, Robinson has a good chance of cracking Detroit's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Won't be retained by Sacramento
The Kings don't intend to re-sign Robinson when his 10-day contract expires Monday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Robinson was one of several players brought in as a replacement player within the past two weeks while Sacramento was without several members of the roster due to the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. The Kings are just about back to full health now, as the team was without just three players in Sunday's 127-102 loss to the Grizzlies. Robinson went unused off the bench in that contest, so the team's decision not to retain him isn't overly surprising.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Justin Robinson: Signs with Kings
Robinson signed a 10-day contract with the Kings on Friday, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. The Kings have several players sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols, and Robinson will provide additional depth in the backcourt. He appeared in 17 games with the Bucks earlier in the year and averaged 2.8 points in 11.6 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Cut loose by Milwaukee
The Bucks plan to waive Robinson on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Bucks have been without several key players at various points through the first month and change of the regular season, resulting in Robinson having a larger role for Milwaukee than what might have been expected when he signed a two-way deal in September. The 24-year-old guard wasn't especially productive over his 17 appearances off the Milwaukee bench, however, averaging just 2.8 points (on 31.6 percent shooting from the field), 1.2 assists and 0.8 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game. The Bucks will cut him loose to clear up a two-way spot for Javonte Smart, an undrafted rookie who is two years younger and was turning heads in the G League with an average of 22.0 points per game for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.... Bucks' Justin Robinson: Plays 27 minutes Thursday
Robinson ended with five points (1-7 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one rebound in 27 minutes during Thursday's 137-95 loss to Miami. Robinson saw plenty of run as the Bucks relied heavily on their bench in the blowout loss to the Heat. He's unlikely to feature in the rotation on a regular basis and looks set to spend time in the G League this year.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Justin Robinson: Heading to Milwaukee
Robinson signed a two-way deal with the Bucks on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. After appearing in nine games with the Thunder last season, Robinson has agreed to a two-way deal with the Bucks. The 23-year-old has averaged just 1.9 points and 0.9 assists per game in 7.6 minutes of action throughout 18 career appearances but will look to make the most out of his opportunity with Milwaukee. As a two-way signee, he'll likely spend time in the G League with minimal impact at the NBA level.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Justin Robinson: Won't be retained by OKC
The Thunder don't intend to re-sign Robinson after his second 10-day contract expired Sunday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Oklahoma City apparently didn't see enough from Robinson over the course of his first two 10-day deals to justify keeping him in the fold for the remainder of the season. Over his nine appearances for the Thunder, Robinson averaged 2.3 points and 1.0 assists in 9.8 minutes per game while shooting 33.3 percent from the field. The Thunder will replace him on the 15-man roster with wing Charles Brown, who agreed to a 10-day deal.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Justin Robinson: Earns second 10-day contract
Robinson signed a second 10-day contract with the Thunder on Thursday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Robinson will remain with Oklahoma City for several more days after he averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 assists in 12.0 minutes per game across the past six contests. He should continue to play a similar role off the bench for the Thunder going forward.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Justin Robinson: Plays 17 minutes in loss
Robinson tallied three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds across 17 minutes during Thursday's 129-102 loss to Cleveland. In his third game with Oklahoma City, Robinson struggled to get much of anything going in the blowout loss. The 25-year-old point guard will likely require more injuries to the team's backcourt to have a chance at gaining worthwhile fantasy value.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Justin Robinson: Will play Monday
Robinson will be available to make his Thunder debut Monday night against the Pistons, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Robinson and Jaylen Hoard signed with the Thunder on Monday, and coach Mark Daigneault told the media pregame that he expects the pair to be a part of the rotation right away. Robinson fared well in the G League bubble earlier this season, but for fantasy purposes he's unlikely to be more than a low-end DFS flyer.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Justin Robinson: Inks 10-day deal with OKC
Robinson signed a 10-day contract with the Thunder on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Robinson shined in the G League bubble earlier this season, and he'll now get an NBA opportunity with a Thunder team dealing with several injuries. With Oklahoma City in full-on rebuilding mode, it wouldn't be a surprise if Robinson immediately finds a spot in the rotation off the bench, though he's unlikely to be fantasy-relevant. Robinson saw limited action in nine games for the Wizards last season with his most recent NBA appearance being Jan. 1, 2020.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Posts double-double in win
Robinson generated 13 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 assists, three rebounds and one steal over 27 minutes in Monday's 120-92 win over the Ignite. Robinson regressed to the mean Monday after dropping 26 points in Saturday's loss to the Blue, but he led the team in assists and recorded his second double-double of the season during the win over the Ignite. He's now averaging 15.4 points and 5.8 assists over 30.7 minutes per contest this year.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Scores 26 against Blue
Robinson logged 26 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists and one rebound over 37 minutes in Saturday's 129-114 loss to the Blue. Robinson topped 20 points for the first time this season Saturday, but he was unable to propel the team to the win over Oklahoma City. He's remained in the starting lineup for every game to begin the year, averaging 15.6 points and 5.3 assists over 31.0 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Posts double-double in win
Robinson tallied 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 assists, four rebounds and two steals over 34 minutes in Sunday's 122-107 win over Austin. Robinson has continued to be a dominant presence for the Blue Coats early in the season, and he recorded a team-high 13 assists against the Spurs on Sunday. Through the first seven games of the year, Robinson is averaging 15.4 points and 6.0 assists over 29.4 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Scores 15 against Iowa
Robinson totaled 15 points (5-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, three rebounds and one block over 25 minutes in Wednesday's 133-111 win over Iowa. Robinson has started each of the first five games of the G League season for the Blue Coats, and he was quite productive in Wednesday's blowout win. He's shooting just 36.1 percent from the floor to begin the season, but he converted on 50 percent of his field goals against Iowa. He's now averaging 14.8 points and 4.8 assists over 27.0 minutes per game to begin the season.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Effective despite inefficiency
Robinson tallied 16 points (4-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-9 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 26 minutes in Thursday's 124-119 win over the Mad Ants. Robinson shot just 30.8 percent from the floor Thursday, but he still put up a solid scoring total during the season opener against Fort Wayne. The 25-year-old appears to have a starting role for the Blue Coats to begin the G League season and should see plenty of run for the team.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Returns with impressive performance
Robinson had 19 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, three rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes in Saturday's G League win against Windy City. After missing one game with a right shoulder injury, Robinson returned with a solid stat line as the Blue Coats cruised to a win against Windy City. Given his quick return to game action and efficient production, it wouldn't be surprising to see him carry a relatively normal workload going forward.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Misses Thursday's game
Robinson didn't play in Thursday's G League loss to Wisconsin due to a right shoulder injury. Robinson has played a big role for the Blue Coats this season, but he was unable to take the court in Thursday's loss. The nature and severity of the injury are unclear, but the 22-year-old's next chance to suit up will come Saturday against Windy City.... See More ... See Less -
Justin Robinson: Scores 22 in loss
Robinson had 22 points (5-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes in Friday's G League loss to Canton. Robinson played his first game for the Blue Coats on Jan. 22, and he's managed to carve out a prominent role with the team in recent games as he's recorded double-digit point totals in six of the last seven games. The 22-year-old is averaging 14.0 PPG and 6.3 APG over 29 games with Capital City and Delaware this season.... See More ... See Less
