After signing a two-way pact with the Jazz in July, Kinsey will become a free agent and look to secure a new contract elsewhere. The 24-year-old spent 2023-24 with the Salt Lake City Stars, Utah's G League affiliate, during which he averaged 8.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 26.9 minutes per game in 16 regular-season appearances.

Kinsey agreed to a two-way contract with the Jazz on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Kinsey spent the 2023-24 campaign with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, averaging 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 29.6 minutes per game over 50 total appearances. He'll rejoin the organization on a deal that allows him to move between the G League and parent club easily, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most of his time in the G League during the 2024-25 season.

Kinsey spent five years at Marshall and averaged 22.1 points, 5.4 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 37.8 minutes per game last season. He went undrafted Thursday but will compete for a role with Utah during the offseason.
