Dotson had 18 points (2-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and a steal across 43 minutes in Thursday's loss to the Blue Coats. Dotson failed to deliver the goods when Capital City needed him the most, and he had a rough outing from the field that was only salvaged by his points from the charity stripe. Dotson was one of Capital City's most consistent performers all season long and ends the 2022-23 campaign averaging 14.8 points, 6.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds across 29 appearances.

  • Wizards' Devon Dotson: Scores 16 points in win

Dotson registered 16 points (6-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), a rebound, five assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Friday's win over Austin. Dotson was one of two starters who scored in double digits for the Go-Go, with the other being Jules Bernard, but Dotson stood out due to his efficiency. In addition to missing just one shot, he also co-led the team in the assists category. He should remain a productive player in the G League since he's also benefited from time with the Wizards in the NBA during the current campaign.

Dotson played 24 minutes for the Capital City Go-Go in Sunday's 112-105 loss to the Greensboro Swarm, finishing with 22 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and three rebounds.

  • Wizards' Devon Dotson: Inks two-way deal with Washington

Dotson agreed Sunday with the Wizards on a two-way contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. He'll join Jordan Goodwin (knee) as one of the two two-way players on the Washington roster, after the Wizards waived wing Jordan Schakel to clear a spot for Dotson. The Wizards already have some familiarity with Dotson, who attended training camp with the club before being cut in October and then landing with the organization's G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go. He'll likely continue to see most of his playing time in the G League this season, though in the short term, Dotson could provide some healthy depth at point guard with both Goodwin and starter Monte Morris (ankle) listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets.
