  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Not listed on injury report

Tatum (hip) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Wizards, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Tatum took a seat for Sunday's win over the Spurs, allowing Sam Hauser to draw a spot start, but he'll be back in action for the second half of Boston's back-to-back. Before his absence, Tatum had appeared in eight straight contests and averaged 28.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.8 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Won't play versus San Antonio

Tatum (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs. Tatum will miss just his sixth game of the season Sunday. In his absence, Sam Hauser, Grant Williams and Derrick White are candidates for increased roles, but Jaylen Brown will presumably be Boston's go-to playmaker. Tatum's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Washington.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Iffy for Sunday

Tatum is questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs with a left hip contusion, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Tatum is at risk of missing his sixth game of the season Sunday as he deals with a bruised left hip. Considering the Spurs are in tank mode, the Celtics could give Tatum a night off. If that were to be the case, Sam Hauser, Grant Williams and Derrick White could see more action, while Jaylen Brown would take the reigns of the offense.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Erupts for 34 points

Tatum accumulated 34 points (13-24 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Friday's 120-95 win over the Pacers. Tatum continued his dominance Friday night with another 30-point scoring performance. He's put up 30-plus points in three of his last four matchups and has contributed across the board over this hot stretch, averaging 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Bounces back with 36 points

Tatum finished with 36 points (14-25 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-11 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 132-109 win over the Kings. Tatum posted just 15 points (4-12 FG) in Saturday's one-point loss to the Jazz, marking his fourth-lowest total of the season, but he bounced back by scoring a game-high 36 points against the Kings. The MVP candidate's poor shooting from the free-throw line was the lone blemish on the night and might've prevented him from reaching the 40-point plateau for the 11th time this season. Since the All-Star break (13 games), Tatum has appeared in 13 of Boston's 14 matchups and is averaging 27.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in 37.8 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Atypical line in loss

Tatum amassed 15 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one block over 39 minutes during Saturday's 118-117 loss to the Jazz. Tatum recorded only 12 shot attempts in the loss, which marked his lowest shot volume of the season. Saturday's performance was a sharp decline from his excellent 34/12 line against the Trail Blazers in his pervious game. Tatum is usually able to offset fewer attempts with adept long-range shooting, but his trio of three-pointers wasn't enough to make a dent in an uncharacteristically low scoring total.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Team-high 34 points, 12 boards

Tatum accumulated 34 points (8-20 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 16-18 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Friday's 126-112 win over Portland. Tatum had a solid first half shooting the ball, knocking down five of 10 shot attempts and eight of nine free throws for 19 points at the break. The small forward would struggle from the field throughout the second half, however, going just 3-of-10 for another 15 points while adding seven boards and two assists. Despite those struggles, Tatum still finished with a team-high 34 points thanks to 16-of-18 shooting from the foul line, also leading the Celtics in rebounds with 12. He's now grabbed 10 or more rebounds in six of eight games this month and has shot at least 16 free throws in back-to-back contests.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Says he'll play Friday

Tatum (hip) said he'll play Friday against the Trail Blazers, Jay King of The Athletic reports. Tatum was questionable for Friday's matchup due to a bruised left hip, but he'll be able to suit up against Portland. The 25-year-old has posted double-doubles in two of his last three appearances and has averaged 26.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 37.7 minutes per game during that time.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Tabbed questionable

Tatum is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers with a bruised left hip. Tatum is at risk of missing the opening leg of the Celtics' back-to-back Friday with a left hip issue. The All-Star forward has been in a cold snap over his last two outings, averaging just 22.0 points on 31.6 percent shooting from the field. If he were to miss, Sam Hauser and Grant Williams would be in line for larger workloads while Jaylen Brown would take on more offensive duties.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Struggles from field in win

Tatum produced 22 points (4-16 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 14-16 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 104-102 victory over Minnesota. Tatum posted a double-double and contributed in the two defensive categories, but there's no question the ample trips to the charity stripe salvaged what was otherwise a poor showing on the offensive end. He's now gone a combined 12-for-38 from the field over his last two contests, but that shouldn't be any major cause for concern for fantasy managers. After all, Tatum is shooting 45.9 percent from the field for the season and has made 45.5 percent of his attempts since the start of March, even when factoring in those two subpar efforts. The Celtics star should be able to bounce back sooner than later, with a matchup with Portland on Friday representing his first opportunity to turn the tide.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Rough shooting night in loss

Tatum recorded 22 points (8-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal across 41 minutes during Monday's 111-109 loss to the Rockets. Tatum struggled a bit from the field Monday but still managed to get to 22 points. On a more positive note, he continues to dish out some impressive assist numbers lately. For the season, the superstar forward is averaging 4.8 dimes per game, but he's recorded six or more in 11 of his last 15 contests.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Posts big double-double in win

Tatum supplied 34 points (12-25 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, six assists and one block across 35 minutes in Saturday's 134-125 win over the Hawks. Per Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston, Tatum is just the seventh player in NBA history to reach 34 points, 15 boards, six assists and five three-pointers in a single game. The All-Star forward has now cleared 30 points in four of his five appearances thus far in March, doing so while hitting exactly half of his shot attempts from the field while chipping in 11.4 boards and 5.4 dimes per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Leading scorer in return

Tatum (knee) registered 30 points (11-17 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 115-93 victory over the Trail Blazers. After sitting in the Celtics' previous game Monday in Cleveland, Tatum returned to the lineup and delivered an efficient scoring performance. The star forward did a good chunk of his damage from downtown and is now averaging 3.3 triples per game on the season, good for eighth in the league.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Off injury report for Wednesday

Tatum (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Tatum missed Monday's clash with Cleveland due to a knee contusion listing -- though rest in the second game of a back-to-back also likely had a hand -- but will be back in the mix Wednesday, presumably retaking his spot in the starting unit. He's tallied 40-plus points in two of the last three games and will aim to keep his hot stretch rolling versus Portland.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Ruled out with knee contusion

Tatum (knee) will not play Monday versus Cleveland. This is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Tatum played a whopping 49 minutes Sunday night, meaning his absence Monday is likely maintenance related. Al Horford (back) and Robert Williams (hamstring) are both out as well, so multiple rotational players will have to step up against the Cavaliers. Derrick White, Sam Hauser, Grant Williams and Mike Muscala are candidates to slide into the starting lineup, but the Celtics will presumably lean heavily on Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart as their go-to playmakers.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Scores 40 in 2OT loss

Tatum posted 40 points (12-30 FG, 6-17 3Pt, 10-12 FT), 11 rebounds and six assists across 49 minutes during Sunday's 131-129 double-overtime loss to the Knicks. The MVP candidate led Boston with 49 minutes in the 2OT loss, but his recent shooting woes continued. Over his past six games, the All-Star is shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 28.3 percent from behind the arc. Boston has lost three of its last four contests. And there is no rest for the weary, as the Celtics travel to Cleveland for the second game of a back-to-back Monday. Given Sunday's double-overtime marathon, it wouldn't be a surprise if some regulars are given the night off.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Sniffs triple-double in win

Tatum contributed 41 points (13-21 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 11-14 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 117-113 victory over the Cavaliers. Tatum went head-to-head with Donovan Mitchell in a battle of two of the best players in the Eastern Conference, and the Celtics star was absolutely filthy, reaching the 40-point mark for the first time since Feb. 10 and also ending just two assists away from recording a triple-double. Tatum is making a case to be the MVP this season and is averaging 26.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game since the beginning of February, leading the Celtics to an 8-3 record in that span.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Ice cold from three Monday

Tatum recorded 14 points (6-18 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine assists, seven rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes before he was ejected from Monday's 109-94 loss to the Knicks. Tatum has struggled a bit with his shooting stroke recently, falling below the 20-point mark in his last two games and four of his last seven after tallying at least 20 in 29 straight appearances before the recent downturn. His struggles in the scoring column are rooted in his inefficiency from deep, as he's connecting on just 24.1 percent of his attempts over the last three games and 32.3 percent over his last seven. It's most likely just a cold spell for the star forward, who is still averaging 30.1 points, 8.7 boards and 4.7 assists per game on the season.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Hits game-winning three

Tatum totaled 18 points (7-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and one block over 36 minutes during Saturday's 110-107 victory over Philadelphia. Tatum struggled to get anything going offensively in the first half, knocking down just two of six shot attempts for four points to go along with six boards and three assists. He picked up the pace over the final two quarters with 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field, including a game-winning three with only two seconds left in the game. The small forward led the Celtics in rebounds (13) and assists (seven) on the night and has now recorded a double-double in three consecutive contests. Tatum has also connected on at least three attempts from beyond the arc in four straight games.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Top scorer in near triple-double

Tatum closed with 31 points (9-25 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 10-11 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals across 42 minutes during Thursday's 142-138 overtime victory over the Pacers. Tatum led the team in scoring and rebounds while posting a team-high-tying assist total en route to a 30-point double-double that was three assists shy of a triple-double. Tatum has recorded at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in two straight games.
