Plumlee registered eight points (2-3 FG, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 19 minutes during Saturday's 113-108 loss to the Magic. Plumlee grabbed double-digit boards for the first time in almost two weeks, turning in a serviceable fantasy line despite still playing off the bench. It appears as though he is going to top out at about 20 minutes on most nights, making him more of a target in deeper formats as opposed to standard leagues.... See More ... See Less

Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Modest production Saturday
Plumlee totaled six points (1-4 FG, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 21 minutes during Saturday's 106-95 victory over the Knicks. Plumlee logged 21 minutes off the bench in the win, ending with a modest fantasy line. Since joining the Clippers, his role has diminished, playing as the primary backup behind Ivica Zubac. While Plumlee can still chip in across the board in limited minutes, he is by no longer a viable 12-team asset moving forward. He can be utilized for streaming purposes on occasion, especially if Zubac misses time.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Solid outing as starter
Plumlee ended Friday's 128-127 loss to Sacramento with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 26 minutes. Plumlee started for the second game in a row and the fourth time in the Clippers' last five contests, and he continues to produce when given a chance. The former Hornets big man is averaging 9.4 points with 11.4 rebounds per game in that five-game span.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Gets starting nod
Plumlee is starting at center against the Kings on Friday. The Clippers are without Ivica Zubac (calf) for the third time in four games. Plumlee has been playing really well lately and is coming off a 20-rebound performance against the Warriors on Thursday.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Pulls down 20 boards in spot start
Plumlee closed with 12 points (3-5 FG, 6-6 FT), 20 rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes during Thursday's 115-91 loss to the Warriors. Plumlee started with Ivica Zubac (calf) sidelined and didn't disappoint, recording his second double-double over his last four outings while pulling down a season-high mark in rebounds. The veteran has shown he can produce when given minutes, but his role in the immediate future will be tied to Zubac's availability. Plumlee is averaging 8.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in six appearances with Los Angeles.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Starting Thursday
Plumlee will join the first unit for Thursday's meeting with the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Plumlee will make his third start in the last four games with Ivica Zubac (calf) sidelined. In his previous two starts, Plumlee averaged 8.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 26.0 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Back to bench
Plumlee will return to the bench Tuesday against Minnesota, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. No surprises here with Ivica Zubac (calf) returning from a two-game absence. As a reserve with the Clippers, Plumlee is likely looking at minutes in the high teens.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Double-doubles in start
Plumlee logged 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 176-175 double-overtime loss to the Kings. Plumlee drew the start for Ivica Zubac, who is day-to-day with a calf injury. While it wasn't a surprise to see Plumlee put up a solid fantasy line like we were used to seeing in Charlotte, he'll be kicking himself for giving up a couple costly turnovers in double overtime. If Zubac is able to return Sunday against Denver, Plumlee will likely see his minutes go back to the teens.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Enters starting lineup
Plumlee will start Friday against the Kings, according to Law Murray of The Athletic. Ivica Zubac (strained right calf) will not play Friday and is considered day-to-day. Plumlee's fantasy managers were spoiled by his days as a starting center for Charlotte and are surely looking forward to this opportunity.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Productive despite bench role
Plumlee provided six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 18 minutes during Thursday's 116-107 win over the Suns. Plumlee was productive again Thursday despite his reduction in role, filling the stat sheet in just 18 minutes. The move to Los Angeles has essentially brought to an end his 12-team value, a sad narrative for anyone who managed to snap him up earlier in the season. With that said, it does appear as though he will have a consistent role for his new team, soaking up all of the backup center minutes. While managers in standard formats can safely move on, he could still have some deep-league appeal thanks to his ability to contribute across multiple categories.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Set to debut Tuesday
Plumleee is expected to make his Clippers debut Tuesday against the Warriors, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Plumlee was dealt from the Hornets to the Clippers on Thursday in exchange for Reggie Jackson and a 2028 second-round pick, and he's ready to get back to business after settling in. The Duke product averaged 15.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his last 10 contests as a Hornet and could look to push Ivica Zubac for the starting center job going forward.... See More ... Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Unavailable Friday
Plumlee will not make his Clippers debut Friday against the Bucks ,Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports. As expected, the recently acquired Plumlee will not play Friday after being traded Thursday from Charlotte. He will have a few days to get settled in before the Clippers' next game Tuesday against Golden State.... See More ... See Less -
Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Sent to Clippers
The Clippers acquired Plumlee from the Hornets on Thursday in exchange for Reggie Jackson and a 2028 second-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Plumlee is in the midst of a bounce-back season following a disappointing first year in Charlotte, averaging 12.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 28.5 minutes per game over 56 appearances to begin the 2022-23 campaign. While Ivica Zubac has also shown some glimpses of production recently, Plumlee arrives as legitimate competition for the starting job. At this stage, it's unclear which way coach Tyronn Lue will lean, though it's possible both players could be in the mix to start against certain matchups. Regardless, since Plumlee no longer has a clear path to 30-plus-minute role he had handled for Charlotte in each of the past five games, his fantasy value takes a hit with the move to L.A.... Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Another double-double
Plumlee racked up 16 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Thursday's 114-98 loss to Chicago. Plumlee is having the best season of his career, but he's been on a whole new level since the start of January, with 10 double-doubles in 16 games during that stretch. The veteran big man has now scored in double figures in nine straight games and notched 22 double-doubles on the campaign. What happens at the trade deadline will determine his value for the final weeks of the regular season (and the fantasy playoffs), but as long as he's donning a Hornets jersey, Plumlee figures to continue producing at a high level.... Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Improbable run continues
Plumlee chipped in 14 points (7-12 FG, 0-2 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists and one block over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 124-115 loss to the Bucks. Plumlee cobbled together another strong performance despite the loss, racking up his 21st double-double of the season. He has been a top-75 player over the past month, proving to be arguably the waiver wire pickup of the year so far. Of course, the free throws remain an issue but anyone rostering him should be fully prepared for that. What happens beyond the trade deadline is a bit of a mystery, but until then, managers should continue to roll him out there with confidence.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Reaches 20-point threshold
Plumlee racked up 21 points (9-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's 111-96 win over Chicago. Plumlee was perfect from the field and missed his only shot of the day at the free-throw line on four attempts. He's now secured seven double-doubles through 13 January appearances. He continues to be most valuable for fantasy managers in the scoring and rebounding categories. However, he's also shown that he can also make an impact as a passer, notching at least four assists in each of the last three games.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Turns in usual production
Plumlee supplied 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 loss to the Suns. Plumlee did his usual damage in the scoring column in a blowout loss, though he was held to his lower rebound total since Dec. 21. Despite a slow night on the glass, he continues to serve as a reliable contributor across the board and is averaging 19.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists over his last five games.... Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Comes close to double-double
Plumlee finished Monday's 120-102 loss to Utah with 18 points (5-6 FG, 8-11 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one block in 26 minutes. The veteran center's career-best campaign rolled along nicely Monday, with Plumlee delivering a full line to bring his per-game averages to 12.0 points, 9.8 boards, 3.6 assists and 0.7 blocks. He also continued to score with hyper efficiency in the paint and is now converting at a personal-best 66.8 percent rate from the field for the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Continues strong run of production
Plumlee totaled 25 points (11-14 FG, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 122-118 victory over the Hawks. Plumlee was a dominant force once again Saturday, continuing what has been arguably the best fantasy season of his career. Despite shooting just 65.8 percent from the free-throw line since Christmas Day, Plumlee has remained an excellent fantasy contributor thanks to his averages of 16.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks over a 14-game stretch during which he's converted at an impressive 75.2 percent clip from the field. The 32-year-old is on an expiring deal, however, and remains a prime candidate to be moved ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline, with any potential move unlikely to afford him as much playing time as he's received with Charlotte this season.... Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Another huge rebounding effort
Plumlee finished with nine points (4-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds and one assist in 33 minutes during Saturday's 122-106 loss to the Celtics. Plumlee came up just one point shy of another double-double. His 16 boards were a game high, and he continues to be a must-roster player in just about all leagues. The veteran center is averaging career highs in points (11.3), rebounds (9.8) and even free-throw attempts (4.3), which goes to show his increased involvement in the offense this season.... Law Murray 🥁@LawMurrayTheNU18H agoClippers bench was not good. I said earlier today that this is the kind of game where Norman Powell would be missed. None of EG, Nico, T Mann, Mason create their own shots, which puts it all on PG, Kawhi and/or Russ to make something happen.
