  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Struggles offensively in win

Gobert ended Thursday's 117-93 victory over the Warriors in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals with five points (2-4 FG, 1-4 FT) and nine rebounds in 27 minutes. After coming one point shy of a double-double in Game 1, Gobert couldn't get it going offensively in Game 2, as he was the lowest-scoring starter for Minnesota on Thursday. The veteran big man is averaging 7.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in this second-round series, shooting 54.5 percent from the field.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Dazzles in series-clinching win

Gobert generated 27 points (12-15 FG, 3-6 FT), 23 rebounds and two blocks over 39 minutes of Wednesday's Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Lakers. Gobert averaged just 3.5 points and 6.3 rebounds over 26.0 minutes in the first four games of the series, but he dominated the Lakers in Game 5 to advance the Timberwolves into the second round. The performance marked Gobert's 10th career 20-point, 20-rebound game, and it was his first time hitting the milestone in the playoffs. Minnesota will face the winner of Golden State and Houston in the next round.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Pulls down 10 rebounds

Gobert ended Sunday's 116-113 win over the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with five points (1-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal over 26 minutes. Although he couldn't get anything to fall offensively, this was one of Gobert's best games of the postseason, which isn't saying much. With the Lakers using a lot of small-ball lineups, Gobert continues to be played off the floor. Through four games, Gobert is shooting 30.8 percent from the field with 3.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 steals in 26.3 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Muted performance in loss

Gobert ended with six points (2-5 FG, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and two steals across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 94-85 loss to the Lakers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Gobert hasn't made much of an impact on either side of the floor during this series. The four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year continues to be targeted, with Luka Doncic taking advantage of the mismatch, which has made the veteran center a non-factor for Minnesota.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Unimpactful in Game 1 victory

Gobert recorded two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 24 minutes during Saturday's 117-95 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Gobert took a back seat, playing limited minutes against a Lakers team renowned for going small. While it was a disappointing effort, the fact that Los Angeles doesn't have an impactful center is likely to see Gobert used sporadically throughout the series. Both teams will remain in Los Angeles for Game 2, with the Timberwolves looking to take a stranglehold on the series.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Explosive total against former team

Gobert recorded 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-5 FT), 18 rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 win over the Jazz. The short-handed Jazz interior was no match for Gobert, who logged 38 minutes and held court in the paint for the duration of the game. The Timberwolves played their way out of the play-in tournament and will now face the Lakers. A scenario that should favor Gobert heavily. The Lakers' front line has been in flux since Anthony Davis' departure and is arguably the team's softest spot. Gobert finishes the regular season with averages of 12.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 blocked shots over 72 games.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Ties career scoring high Friday

Gobert ended Friday's 117-91 victory over Brooklyn with a game-high 35 points (13-17 FG, 9-14 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block across 33 minutes. The 35 points tied his career high, a mark he first established back in March 2017. The double-double was Gobert's 35th of the season and eighth in the last 10 games, a stretch in which he's averaging 18.4 points, 14.2 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 75.0 percent from the floor. Look for the big man to remain locked in Sunday in the Timberwolves' regular-season finale -- not only is it a revenge game for Gobert against the Jazz, Minnesota needs a win to try and escape the Play-In Tournament and claim the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Perfect from field Thursday

Gobert ended Thursday's 141-125 win over the Grizzlies with 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes. Gobert has gone two straight games without a double-double, and that's a bit odd considering how good he had been playing in recent weeks. In fact, the last time he went two games in a row without a double-double was between March 16 and 17 in a back-to-back set against the Pacers and Jazz. Gobert is averaging 16.4 points and 13.2 rebounds per game since the beginning of April.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Extends double-double streak

Gobert recorded 23 points (10-11 FG, 3-4 FT), 19 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 36 minutes during Saturday's 114-109 victory over the 76ers. Gobert was highly efficient in this contest and is ending the season on a sizzling note. The star center has recorded seven straight double-doubles, averaging 18.6 points and 16.3 rebounds per game in that stretch, arguably his most productive of the season by a wide margin. If the Timberwolves want to make a deep run in the playoffs, they need this version of Gobert anchoring the frontcourt.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Monster double-double in win

Gobert tallied 21 points (9-10 FG, 3-6 FT), 18 rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 36 minutes during Thursday's 105-90 victory over Brooklyn. Gobert posted a game-high mark in rebounds en route to his sixth consecutive contest with a double-double. The veteran big man has accumulated 33 such games in 67 regular-season appearances and is on pace to average a double-double for a ninth straight season. Gobert posted 20-plus points for just the third time on the season Thursday, tying his season high in scoring. Additionally, he logged multiple blocks for the 28th time during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Grabs 25 rebounds Sunday

Gobert registered 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-4 FT), 25 rebounds and one block over 38 minutes during Sunday's 123-104 win over Detroit. The 25 rebounds were a campaign-high mark for Gobert, who had reached the 20-rebound mark just once all season long. Even though he plays a secondary role on offense, Gobert is undoubtedly trending in the right direction. This was his fourth straight double-double, and the towering big man is also averaging 12.6 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.9 blocks per contest in 10 March appearances.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Third straight double-double

Gobert racked up 17 points (8-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and four steals in 38 minutes during Friday's 124-109 victory over the Suns. The 32-year-old center quickly got back into form after developing back trouble right before the All-Star break, which cost him 10 games. Over his last eight appearances, Gobert has recorded five double-doubles including three straight, averaging 11.4 points, 10.5 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over that stretch while shooting 69.2 percent from the floor.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Owns paint in double-double

Gobert tallied 16 points (8-12 FG), 16 rebounds and three assists over 35 minutes in Monday's 119-103 loss to Indiana. Gobert held things down in the paint for Minnesota in Monday's battle, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while finishing with the lone double-double of the game in a losing effort. Gobert has recorded at least 15 points and 15 boards in three contests, and he has hauled in 15 or more rebounds in eight appearances.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Exits early Monday

Gobert was ejected from Monday's game against the Pacers after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, Alex Golden of the 'Setting the Pace' podcast reports. He registered three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 22 minutes before departing. Gobert was tossed midway through the third quarter after getting into an altercation with Andrew Nembhard, who was hit with his second technical and also ejected. It'll be up to Naz Reid and Luka Garza to fill in at center the rest of the way.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Ekes out double-double Wednesday

Gobert recorded 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 115-95 win over the Nuggets. The double-double was his 26th of the season, and his first in two games since returning to the lineup following a 10-game absence due to back trouble. Gobert's big increase in court time -- he played only 20 minutes Sunday in his return -- is a strong sign he's fully healthy, but his production will likely remain muted as the Minnesota offense continues to flow through Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Available vs. Denver

Gobert (back) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. Gobert is coming off a 16-point performance in the blowout win against the Spurs and will be back on the floor Wednesday in Denver. The veteran big man has seen his numbers dip this season, averaging 11.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 65.8 percent from the field.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Questionable to face Denver

Gobert (back) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. Gobert made his return from a 10-game absence due to a lower back injury in Sunday's win over the Spurs, during which he posted 16 points (7-8 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 20 minutes. The big man will likely operate under a minutes restriction if he's able to play Wednesday. However, if Gobert is ruled out, Naz Reid and Luka Garza could receive a bump in minutes.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Solid numbers in return

Gobert (back) amassed 16 points (7-8 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 20 minutes during Sunday's 141-124 victory over the Spurs. The veteran center saw his first action since Feb. 12 as he returned from a back issue. His minutes were limited, but it's unclear if it was because he was under a specific restriction, or because Gobert picked up two first-quarter fouls that prompted head coach Chris Finch to hold him out for the entire second quarter. In any case, Gobert made the most of his time on the court by turning in a highly efficient performance. Minnesota doesn't play again until Wednesday in Denver and doesn't face a back-to-back set until next Sunday and Monday, so Gobert could ramp up to his usual workload fairly quickly.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Available Sunday

Gobert (back) will start Sunday's game against the Spurs. Gobert has missed the last 10 games due to a back injury, but he will make his return Sunday. Considering the amount of time Gobert has missed, it wouldn't be surprising if he is on a minutes restriction as he eases back into play.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Questionable for Sunday

Gobert (back) has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs. Gobert has missed the Timberwolves' last 10 games due to a back issue. If the French import can't play Sunday against San Antonio, Minnesota will likely continue to turn to Naz Reid to shoulder the load in the frontcourt.
