Dunn ended Friday's 144-116 loss to Milwaukee with two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes. Dunn struggled against Milwaukee's championship-caliber defense, producing his worst outing since joining Utah. On the positive side, he handed out six dimes to better-performing teammates and had just one turnover. Fantasy managers in nine-category leagues are getting excellent value out of Dunn, as he hasn't committed more than two turnovers in a game this season compared to his 5.2 assists per game.... Jazz's Kris Dunn: Excels from bench in loss
Dunn closed Wednesday's 127-115 loss to the Trail Blazers with 15 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 23 minutes. Dunn came through with another handy performance while the Jazz remained without two key backcourt contributors in Jordan Clarkson (finger) and Collin Sexton (hamstring). The Jazz have elected to give rookie Ochai Agbaji the starting gig over the seven-year vet, but Dunn appears primed to continue handling an elevated role off the bench while the Jazz look to make a push for the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. Dunn has played 20-plus minutes in all but two of his 12 appearances since joining the team after the All-Star break.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Kris Dunn: Dazzles off bench in win
Dunn finished with 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block across 31 minutes in Monday's 128-120 win over the Kings. Though the Jazz stuck with Talen Horton-Tucker as their starting point guard while both Collin Sexton (hamstring) and Jordan Clarkson (finger) remained sidelined Monday, Dunn ended up seeing most of the time on the ball against the Kings while Horton-Tucker dealt with foul trouble for much of the night. Dunn was able to make the most of the elevated playing time, as he established new season highs in points and assists while producing his offense efficiently and making his usual contributions in the defensive categories. Though his minutes could dip back into the low-to-mid 20s if Horton-Tucker avoids the whistle Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, Dunn still profiles as a strong streaming option for steals and assists in that contest with the likelihood that both Clarkson and Sexton will continue to sit.... Jazz's Kris Dunn: Stays in Utah rest of season
Dunn and the Jazz agreed Tuesday on a one-year contract, Tony Jones and Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. With Dunn's second 10-day deal lapsing, the Jazz will unsurprisingly keep the 28-year-old in the fold for the rest of the season after he's thus far proven to be an indispensable rotation piece off the bench since Utah's backcourt depth was gutted at the trade deadline and with the losses of Collin Sexton (hamstring) and Jordan Clarkson (finger) to injuries. Through his first nine games with Utah, Dunn has averaged 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 three-pointers and 0.6 blocks in 22.2 minutes per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field. While that type of production would make Dunn a roster-worthy option in 12- and even 10-team category leagues if he can sustain it, he could see his minutes dip into the teens as soon as the Jazz's next game Saturday, when both Sexton and Clarkson could be available to play against the Celtics.... Jazz's Kris Dunn: Near double-double off bench
Dunn supplied 12 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block across 23 minutes during Thursday's 131-124 victory over Orlando. Dunn, who's operating on a second 10-day deal, continues to impress with Utah. He's scored in double figures in each of his seven appearances and is averaging 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.9 steals in 23.3 minutes during that stretch. He's certainly playing well enough to garner a rest-of-season contract, but his usage is presumably tied to the availability of Jordan Clarkson (finger) and Collin Sexton (hamstring).... See More ... Jazz's Kris Dunn: Lands second 10-day deal
Dunn was signed to a second 10-day contract by the Jazz on Saturday. Dunn joined the Jazz on a 10-day deal on Feb. 10 and appeared in all four games since signing, averaging 12.0 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals across 22.3 minutes. He has stepped into a larger role with Collin Sexton (hamstring) and Jordan Clarkson (thumb) sidelined but could settle into the long-term backup point guard spot if he continues this caliber of play.... Jazz's Kris Dunn: Stays relevant Tuesday
Dunn ended with 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-3 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 102-94 loss to San Antonio. Dunn was solid off the bench once again Tuesday, continuing to push for a permanent contract. Now on his second straight 10-day deal, Dunn has thrived as the backup point guard thanks to Collin Sexton's (hamstring) injury. A known defensive specialist, Dunn has been able to chip in on the offensive end over the past three games, an element of his game that could certainly do with some refining. Although his ROS value is unknown, he is worth grabbing for now, even in standard formats.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Kris Dunn: Back-to-back strong games
Dunn finished with 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), eight assists, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 23 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 118-102 win over the Spurs. Since signing a 10-day deal with the Jazz coming out of the All-Star break, Dunn has already claimed a steady role on the second unit while the Utah backcourt has been depleted by Collin Sexton's hamstring injury and a slew of players leaving the team following the trade deadline. In his first two games with the Jazz, Dunn has averaged 13.0 points on 52.2 percent shooting from the field, but that kind of scoring production probably isn't sustainable for the career 42.2 percent shooter. Instead, if Dunn is able to maintain a near-20-minute role for Utah or see his opportunities increase, he would bring his most value in the assists and steals columns.... See More ... See Less -
Jazz's Kris Dunn: Lands 10-day deal with Utah
The Jazz signed Dunn to a 10-day contract Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. After trading Mike Conley away at the deadline, waiving Russell Westbrook and Leandro Bolmaro and then losing Collin Sexton to a hamstring injury in their final game before the All-Star break, the Jazz were desperate to add depth at point guard heading into the second half of their schedule. The signing of Dunn -- the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft -- and Frank Jackson to 10-day deals helps address the lack of backcourt depth, and both players could be candidates to move into the rotation when Utah returns to action Thursday against the Thunder, Dunn has appeared in just 14 NBA contests (three starts) since the end of the 2019-20 campaign, but he averaged 16.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists across 20 G League outings with the Capital City Go-Go in 2022-23.... Kris Dunn: Scores 16 in OT loss
Dunn delivered 16 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and five steals across 38 minutes in Wednesday's overtime loss to Westchester. Dunn had another solid performance in this game, looking efficient from the field and also posting solid numbers in peripheral starts. The G League season will stop for one week due to the All-Star festivities, and Dunn enters the break as one of Capital City's most productive players. He's averaging 16.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game this season despite starting in just eight of his 20 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Stuffs stat sheet again
Dunn posted 23 points (7-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block across 30 minutes in Friday's loss to Wisconsin. Dunn continues to operate as an excellent scoring threat for the Go-Go regardless of his status in the starting lineup. He's also contributing in other categories and has been a valuable member of the team. He's putting up 15.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game despite starting in just seven of his 19 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Comes close to triple-double
Dunn posted 18 points (8-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, 11 assists and seven steals across 34 minutes off the bench in Saturday's overtime loss to the Mad Ants. Dunn's chances of landing an NBA deal -- even if it's a 10-day deal -- look slim at the moment, but the floor general has been impressive and continues to show the ability to make an impact on both ends of the court on a regular basis.... Kris Dunn: Double-double off bench
Dunn had 19 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists and seven steals across 31 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over Maine. Dunn came close to a strange accomplishment, as he could've recorded a triple-double with points, assists and steals, and he was just four boards and three steals short of notching an even more uncommon quadruple-double. Dunn has been inconsistent at the G League, but when he catches fire, he can show he's one of the most productive players for Capital City.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Provides spark off bench
Dunn finished with six points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 24 minutes off the bench in Sunday's loss to Long Island. Dunn struggled badly from the field, but he still ended with a decent performance, thanks to his contributions in other categories. The point guard has shifted between a starting and a bench role all season long, and he's averaging 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game across 15 appearances.... See More ... Kris Dunn: Delivers team-high scoring mark
Dunn notched 23 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists and a steal across 31 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Long Island. Dunn continues to impact the game in more ways than one, and the veteran keeps showing flashes of his all-around ability as he searches for another NBA opportunity. Dunn is averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game despite starting in just four of his 10 appearances to date.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Scores team-high 21 points
Dunn recorded 21 points (8-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and a steal across 36 minutes in Saturday's loss to College Park. Dunn had an excellent performance despite the fact that Capital City suffered its second loss of the season, as the former Bulls guard led the team in points and assists while also ending just two boards shy of recording a double-double. Dunn is averaging 16.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Scores 24 with six steals
Dunn had 24 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists and six steals across 38 minutes in Saturday's 131-124 overtime win over the Swarm. The Go-Go have enjoyed a 3-0 start to the regular season and Dunn has played a big role in the team's winning streak, as he's been a consistent performer both as an offensive and defensive threat for Capital City. He's averaging 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.3 steals per contest in the opening three games of the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Goes for 21 points Tuesday
Dunn recorded 21 points (9-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and three steals across 30 minutes in Tuesday's win over Motor City. Dunn was always considered a toolsy player in the NBA and has shown those same traits in the G League. He's been making an impact for the Go-Go and seems to have taken over the starting point guard role over Johnny Davis, who was a lottery pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, so it seems he's making enough progress to eventually return to the NBA. Dunn averaged 13.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in the Showcase.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Sniffs triple-double in win
Dunn delivered 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and a block across 30 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over Santa Cruz. Dunn was an absolute pest on the defensive end thanks to his season-high seven steals and his activity on the glass, but he also recorded solid numbers as a scorer and playmaker. Even though he settled on a bench role, Dunn has been impressive for the Go-Go and continues to record solid performances every time he steps on the hardwood.... See More ... See Less -
Kris Dunn: Scores eight points in return
Dunn (illness) scored eight points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding eight assists, three steals and two rebounds across 30 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss to Raptors 905. Dunn was one of several Go-Go players that missed time due to COVID-19 protocols, but he was able to return here and didn't miss a beat, as he found a way to contribute both as a scorer and playmaker. Dunn should remain a reliable producer for Capital City regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.... See More ... See Less
