Thompson was practically unstoppable in the first half of the contest, putting up 33 points on a 12-for-18 mark from the field, with eight of his baskets coming from three-point range. He slowed down considerably the rest of the way but still finished with his highest point total of March so far. As usual, Thompson didn't contribute much outside of scoring and triples, but his fantasy managers have come to expect that at this point. The tradeoff is that when the sharpshooter catches fire, he can single-handedly carry a squad in the three-point category -- for instance, this was the seventh time this season he has drained at least eight triples in a game.

Though he's now cleared 30 points in the first two games of Curry's absence, Thompson struggled with his efficiency Wednesday and could be in store for a few more rough shooting outings now that he'll likely be drawing more attention from defenses with his usual backcourt mate out indefinitely. That being said, the fact that Thompson has put up 50 field-goal attempts over the past two games alone suggests that his usage could go through the roof while Curry is sidelined.
Thompson finished with 42 points (15-22 FG, 12-16 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes during Monday's 141-114 victory over the Thunder.
Thompson was on fire in the victory, casually hitting double-digit three-pointers for the second time this season. With Stephen Curry (knee) likely to miss at least a few weeks, Thompson is going to have to shoulder more of the Warriors' scoring load moving forward. While he won't offer much in terms of defensive numbers, Thompson's ability to put up shots at a high clip should increase his value in points leagues in particular for the duration of Curry's absence.
