    Hopson (lower leg) did not take the floor Sunday against the Texas Legends. Hopson hasn't stepped onto the court since Feb. 5, as he continues to deal with a lower leg injury. His timetable to return is currently unknown but expect him to regain his spot in the rotation as a scorer off the bench.

    The Thunder signed Hopson to an Exhibit 10 contract on Saturday and immediately waived him, Rylan Stiles of reports. The move allows the Thunder to retain Hopson's G League rights while the 33-year-old wing likely report to the Oklahoma City Blue to begin the 2022-23 campaign. Hopson made one 18-minute appearance for the Thunder last December when Oklahoma City was missing several players due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

  • Thunder's Scotty Hopson: Lands 10-day deal with OKC

    Hopson and the Thunder agreed Monday on a 10-day contract, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. Along with Hopson, the Thunder will bring aboard center Olivier Sarr and wing Rob Edwards from their G League affiliate with five players (Darius Bazley, Tre Mann, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Aleksej Pokusevski and Josh Giddey) on the NBA roster in the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols as of Tuesday. Oklahoma City still has 11 other healthy players available heading into Tuesday's game in Sacramento, so none of Hopson, Sarr or Edwards are guaranteed to slide into the rotation immediately. Hopson, a 6-foot-7 wing, has averaged 6.4 points in 11 games this season for the Oklahoma City Blue. He last appeared in the NBA in 2017-18, when he saw action in one game for Dallas.
