Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Notches 17 points
Butler had 17 points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, six assists and three steals over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Although the Warriors lost Stephen Curry (hamstring) at the beginning of this series, Butler wasn't able to prevent the Timberwolves from winning four straight games to eliminate Golden State. Butler had his struggles in this series, shooting 43.0 percent from the field with a low usage rate, all things considered. Butler will be 36 years old on Opening Night in 2025-26, and his fantasy upside is likely to be limited again as the presumed No. 2 option on offense behind Curry. In 30 regular-season appearances, Butler produced 17.9 points, 5.9 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 0.6 three-pointers in 32.7 minutes per game.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Modest effort in Game 4 loss
Butler ended Monday's 117-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 14 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block across 34 minutes.
Butler fell short of the mark, unable to lift the Warriors to victory. Golden State has now lost three straight games and faces the prospect of elimination in Game 5. Stephen Curry remains questionable due to a hamstring injury, but should he be unable to play, Butler will need to do more on both ends of the floor in the hopes of extending the series.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Goes for 33 points in Game 3 loss
Butler notched 33 points (12-26 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists in 43 minutes during Saturday's 102-97 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Butler was the dominant force the Warriors needed to have a chance at securing their second win in the series, but his elite stat line wasn't enough, even though he ended just three boards and three assists away from a triple-double. Butler has unsurprisingly emerged as the Warriors' most reliable offensive weapon in the absence of Stephen Curry (hamstring). He's averaging 23.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game in the series.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Stuffs stat sheet in Game 2
Butler supplied 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Thursday's 117-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Butler should be the Warriors' go-to option on offense while Stephen Curry (hamstring) is sidelined. While he did a good job in Game 2, more should be expected of him. Without including Game 2 of the series against Houston in which he departed after eight minutes due to a pelvic injury, this was just the second time Butler didn't reach the 20-point mark in the current postseason run.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Sniffs triple-double
Butler produced 20 points (7-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 41 minutes during Tuesday's 99-88 win over the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Butler was one of several Golden State players who stepped up following the exit of Stephen Curry (hamstring), and the veteran forward carried the team offensively while ending just two boards shy of a triple-double. Butler should operate as the Warriors' go-to option on offense going forward as long as Curry remains out. He's perfectly comfortable in that role, and the numbers back him up since he's scored at least 20 points in four of his previous five playoff appearances.
