Whoops.

The NBA has rescinded LeBron James' strange technical foul, according to the Sun-Sentinel. On the play, LeBron barreled into defender Gerald Henderson but was called for a technical supposedly for the action immediately after the play -- though it was exceedingly clear that there was nothing malicious about it.

Except referee Marat Kogut didn't see it that way, demonstratively calling LeBron for the tech.

Said LeBron about the call after the game: "I got fouled and got a technical. ... They didn't tell me nothing."

Technical fouls in the preseason don't count against a player's total, so it's really neither here nor there, except for the fact the NBA has acknowledged the blown call.
