Previewing Celtics-Hawks Game 2 Tuesday.

1. Where We're At: Atlanta leads 1-0. The Celtics will be without Rajon Rondo, suspended one game for bumping an official. The Hawks controlled the glass in Game 1 and got a huge performance from Josh Smith on the way to the win, holding off a Boston rally.

2. The Big Number: 0-11. The Celtics didn't hit a single three-pointer in Game 1 with Ray Allen out. The Hawks' seven hits from behind the arc were a big part of their ability to string out the lead throughout the game. The Celtics have to knock down some triples to match the Hawks' offense.

3. Key Adjustment: To be frank, the Celtics just need to hit some shots. They got a large number of the same kinds of looks they've gotten all season, but missed them. Kevin Garnett, in particular, was frozen until the fourth quarter. Garnett has to knock down the mid-range jumper off the pick and pop and hit some shots in the post. With Allen not at 100 percent or out, Garnett has to pick up the scoring load.

4. The Big Story: Rajon Rondo honestly tried to say he tripped and that's why he bumped referee Marc Davis. Sadly for him, the league is not completely stupid, and saw that Rondo stuck his chest out when making contact with Davis, the exact opposite thing you do when you trip. So now the Celtics are without Rondo in a big game on the road. Can Paul Pierce distribute the ball effectively? Can the Celtics create enough offens without their creator? That's the big question in Game 2.

5. The Facts: Tipoff 7:30 p.m. EST. Ray Allen is listed as "doubtful" but will be a gametime decision. Rajon Rondo is out serving a one-game suspension. Zaza Pachulia is not likely to play with a strained foot. Al Hoford is not expected to be active.
