He'll exit the starting nine for the second time in 14 games this season while Milwaukee rolls out an outfield of Joey Wiemer, Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick from left to right. Chourio went 1-for-11 with three strikeouts while starting in the first two games of the series in Baltimore.
Chourio went 1-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Reds while also drawing a walk.
Chourio drew a walk on five pitches to open the game and proceeded to steal second base before coming home on a Christian Yelich home run two batters later. The right-fielder would then go on to score a second time while also driving in two runs, the first on a single and the second on a sacrifice fly. Chourio has now hit safely in four consecutive games and in 10 of 11 contests overall to open the season. Additionally, he's also recorded at least one RBI in all but three games.
Chourio is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

The 20-year-old has started all three games the Brewers have played to date, and he has hardly been overmatched, as he reached base twice in all three contests. Chourio hit ninth against right-handed starters Saturday and Sunday after hitting leadoff against a lefty in the opener, and that arrangement will likely continue for the time being. However, he could certainly find himself hitting higher against righties if he continues displaying the skills that made him one of the top prospects in baseball.

The 20-year-old outfielder still needs to prove he can succeed consistently against MLB pitchers, but Friday's performance was certainly promising.

He will surely bat lower in the order against right-handers, but with lefty Jose Quintana on the bump for the Mets, Chourio gets the call at the top of the lineup in his major-league debut. The 20-year-old will also play some center field for the Brewers but will be in right field for this one.
