Wisconsin (3-1, 0-0 Big Ten) at No. 22 Nebraska (3-1, 0-0 Big Ten)

Kickoff: Saturday, 8 p.m. ET (ABC)

Spread: Nebraska by 13

Watchability: The Badgers are struggling to find a rhythm on offense and recently gave the starting nod at quarterback to freshman backup Joel Stave. Nebraska is finding its legs on defense and the diverse offense has elite playmakers at the skill positions. Wisconsin will try to slow things down while the Cornhuskers will want to push the tempo.

Shining stars: Wisconsin: RB James White is listed as No. 2 on the depth chart, but with star RB Montee Ball suffering his second concussion in less than two months, the junior should get plenty of action. White ran for 65 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries against UTEP last week. Nebraska: QB Taylor Martinez does it all for the Cornhuskers. The junior is completing 70.7 percent of his passes for 878 yards with nine touchdown against one interception while rushing for 191 yards with two scores. Martinez has a firm grasp of the offense and is using his legs to buy time and create bigger plays in the passing game.

Who could steal the show: Wisconsin: LB Chris Borland had a career game last week against UTEP. The junior amassed 12 tackles and a career-high two sacks versus the Miners and will be counted on to make plays in space against a dynamic Nebraska attack. Nebraska: LB Will Compton has been one of the few playmakers for the defense this season. Compton has a team-high 34 tackles -- 10 more than any teammate -- to go with two sacks and a fumble recovery.

You going? Ranking the road trip: Get to Memorial Stadium 5.5 hours before kickoff. The marching band performs all of the team’s fight songs and even a few hits by visitors before the players take to the field.

Magic number for Wisconsin: 64. Career touchdowns for RB Montee Ball. The star is questionable for Saturday due to a concussion suffered against UTEP.

Magic number for Nebraska: 3. Losses in their past four conference home openers for the Cornhuskers. Nebraska did rally to post a 34-27 win over Ohio State in its first Big Ten game in Lincoln last year.

The game comes down to: Can the Badgers slow down Martinez? The dual-threat signal caller is the maestro of the offense, doing a great job getting the ball in the hands of talented RBs Ameer Abdullah, Rex Burkhead and Imani Cross while also getting WR Kenny Bell involved. It’s just too many weapons for Wisconsin to contain.

Eye on College Football's take: While having Ball available would help Wisconsin, the key to this game will be how Stave handles his first start outside of Madison. -- Tom Fornelli

Prediction: Nebraska 31, Wisconsin 14
