Arkansas landed a big commitment on Sunday from ex-Oklahoma wide receiver Jadon Haselwood, who announced his intent to transfer away from the Sooners. Haselwood made his announcement in a Twitter post after visiting Arkansas over the weekend.

A rising redshirt junior, Haselwood had 39 catches for 399 yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore in 2021. He only played in three games and took a redshirt in 2020 after tearing his ACL, and he had 19 catches for 272 yards and one touchdown as a true freshman in 2019.

As a five-star prospect and No. 4 overall prospect in the 2019 Class, Haselwood came from Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder was one of several prospects who decided to transfer out of Oklahoma after coach Lincoln Riley left to take over at USC. Among those who hit the transfer porter are former starting quarterback and one-time Heisman candidate Spencer Rattler, fellow receiver Theo Wease and tight end Austin Stogner.

Haswelwood will join a Razorbacks team that was one of the most pleasant surprises in all of college football this past season. Sam Pittman's Razorbacks went 8-4 in Year 2 and earned a berth in the Outback Bowl against Penn State. The Hogs will likely lose junior Treylon Burks, who has 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, to the NFL Draft. Burks' absence, combined with little production elsewhere -- Warren Thompson has just 18 receptions and may be the top returning wideout in 2022 -- should create plenty of opportunities for Haselwood in offensive coordinator Kendal Briles' spread offense.
