The Dallas Stars and Arizona Coyotes got a little hot and bothered last night in a close contest that ended up with the Stars narrowly eking out a victory. Tempers flared multiple times, but there was a particularly funny backdrop to a fight that erupted between Arizona’s Kyle Chipchura and Dallas’ Brenden Dillon.

As the two dropped the gloves and started throwing some heavy punches at each other, a family in the first row had the best seats in the house for this bout. Though the Coyotes-jersey-clad parents appeared to enjoy the bout in front of them, the young girl between them sure didn't seem too keen on what was happening.

They shielded her eyes with their hands while laughing about their plight. The joys of parenting. As a dad, I'd probably have done the same thing.

It looked like the little one was already scared, lifting a stuffed animal to her face before the adults took over. That was some serious violence erupting right in front of them between two pretty big hockey players.
