Even though he has only played in seven games this season, Arizona Coyotes forward John Scott is one of the leading vote-getters for the 2016 NHL All-Star game thanks to an online fan campaign to get him into the game. Scott doesn't really want the attention, and has asked for fans to vote for his more deserving teammates instead, but has been a pretty good sport about it and plans to participate in the game if he gets voted in.

On Friday night the Coyotes were in Buffalo, one of the cities that Scott has called home during his NHL career, and received a warm welcome from a couple of fans, including one along the glass that was wearing a Sabres jersey with his name and number on the back.

As Scott was heading down the tunnel to the locker room following the pre-game warmups, he noticed a different fan that had a sign that she was Scott's biggest fan. Scott decided to stop and autograph the sign and pretty clearly made her night.

Scott spent two seasons in Buffalo in 2012-13 and 2013-14, appearing in 90 games, scoring one goal and recording 194 penalty minutes.
