The Raiders are likely headed for a second straight week without starting RB Darren McFadden, backup RB Mike Goodson and starting DT Richard Seymour.

McFadden and Goodson, who suffered high-ankle sprains two weeks ago against Tampa Bay, remain in walking boots, coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday after practice. They missed practice, and so did Seymour, who injured a hamstring against the Bucs.

Allen said the trio is "questionable" for Sunday's home game against New Orleans.

"All those guys are getting better," Allen said. "It’s just a matter of whether they’re going to be better in time for Sunday or not."

Starting SS Tyvon Branch (neck) and starting FS Matt Giordano (concussion) missed practice. Giordano is going through the concussion protocol and has not been cleared to practice.

"He’ll continue the NFL testing," Allen said. "And then Branch, he’s got a sore neck, so we’ll see where he’s at tomorrow, and see if we can get something out of him tomorrow."

Allen declined to say how the Raiders would adjust if Giordano couldn't play Sunday. Regular starting FS Michael Huff has started the past seven games at left cornerback. Huff is listed as the backup free safety on the depth chart. Phillip Adams is the backup left corner.

"Well, the good news is you don’t have to worry about whether he can play or not today so we’ll kind of keep that under our hats until this weekend," Allen said.

Starting TE Brandon Myers, who suffered a concussion against Baltimore, was cleared for practice. Although he was limited in practice, Myers is expected to start against the Saints.
