As long as fire alarms have existed, people have been pulling them in the name of fun -- and the Eagles found that out the hard way at their hotel in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday morning.
Around 2 a.m. PT, the fire alarm at the team hotel went off, something that linebacker Emmanuel Acho didn't find amusing.

Acho also has a theory about who might have been responsible for the fire alarm prank.
Apparently they only evacuated floors 4 and 9 during this mornings, "fire alarm". Now I'm no mathematician but... #Eagles Vs. #49ers

Hotel security must have had a tough time getting the alarm turned off because almost 20 minutes later, it was still blaring, according to Matt Barkley.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly is a strong believer that his players need 10-12 hours of sleep a night for optimal gametime performance. If this fire alarm prank works and the Eagles lose, we can probably expect a fire alarm to be pulled in every city the Eagles play in for the rest of the season.
