Less than an hour after Jets coach Todd Bowles announced that Geno Smith got sucker punched in the team locker room on Tuesday, Smith posted a picture of himself on Instagram with the message: ILL BE BACK!

The Jets quarterback was punched in the face by linebacker IK Enemkpali and is expected to miss the next 6-10 weeks with a broken jaw. Enenkpali was released by the Jets shortly after Bowles made the announcement that Smith had been punched.

Bowles didn't offer any specifics on what caused the punch, but he did say that, "It was something very childish that sixth graders could have talked about."

According to FoxSports.com's Mike Garafolo, an action by Smith led to the punch.
