49ers vs. Falcons updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday

Game Recap

The San Francisco 49ers fell to the Atlanta Falcons 29-22 when the teams previously met two seasons ago; this time around, they exacted some revenge. San Francisco took down Atlanta 31-13 on Sunday.

Among those leading the charge for the 49ers was RB Jeff Wilson, who rushed for one TD and 110 yards on 21 carries. That nimble footwork stands out as the first time Wilson has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.

A silver lining for Atlanta was the play of WR Russell Gage, who caught eight passes for one TD and 91 yards.

The contest pushed Atlanta down to 6-8 and pulled San Francisco up to the reverse at 8-6.

San Francisco will take on the Tennessee Titans at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thursday at Nissan Stadium. Unlike the 49ers, Tennessee will be limping in after taking a loss. Atlanta will be playing at home against the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday.
