Sharpe (glute) won't play Tuesday against the Raptors.
After leaving Sunday's loss to the Knicks early due to left hamstring tightness, the injury is now being described as a left glute contusion. That's good news for Sharpe, and it means he'll likely be listed as day-to-day. Guys like Jalen Wilson, Noah Clowney and maybe Danny Wolf could see more opportunities until Sharpe is cleared to play again.

Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Questionable for Tuesday
Sharpe (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Sharpe is in jeopardy of missing Tuesday's contest after leaving Sunday's loss to the Knicks early due to left hamstring tightness. Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Set for testing on hamstring
Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said after Sunday's 134-98 loss to the Knicks that Sharpe would undergo testing on his left hamstring Monday to determine the severity of the injury, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Sharpe contributed 10 points (3-3 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 12 minutes before exiting Sunday's contest with 1:49 remaining in the third quarter. Though an official timeline for Sharpe's return won't be provided until his tests are completed, the Nets already seem to be bracing for him to miss at least their next game Tuesday versus the Raptors. Brooklyn recalled Danny Wolf from the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday, and the rookie first-round pick will be a candidate to enter the rotation as starting center Nic Claxton's top backup if Sharpe can't play Tuesday.

Sharpe's role as the backup center behind Nic Claxton has been consistent, but the number of field goals he attempts varies widely from game to game. While Sharpe has been efficient from the field when he does take a shot, averaging 69.2 percent from the field, he only attempts 3.7 field goals per game for an average of 6.4 points, which is heavily inflated by 17- and 14-point performances earlier in the season.

Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Returning to Nets
Sharpe (knee) agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal to return to the Nets on Monday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The Nets did not extend a $5.98 million qualifying offer to Sharpe, but they acted quickly to ensure that he returns to the franchise. Sharpe is coming off a career-best campaign with regular-season averages of 7.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks across 18.2 minutes per game in 50 appearances. He'll likely win the backup job behind Nic Claxton in 2025-26, though he does have competition from rookie Danny Wolf.
