Clippers' Kobe Brown: Back with parent club
The Clippers recalled Brown from the G League's Ontario Clippers on Tuesday, Joey Linn of SI.com reports. Brown is back with the parent club after he recorded 16 points and five rebounds in 31 minutes during his first G League appearance Monday in a 122-84 win over the Rip City Remix. The rookie will be available for Tuesday's matchup versus the Nuggets, but it's unclear if he'll see any playing time. Brown posted five points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 103-98 preseason win over the Jazz Brown was selected No. 30 overall by the Clippers in the 2023 NBA Draft. Clippers' Kobe Brown: Healthy to start training camp
Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank said Wednesday that Brown (ankle) is healthy and ready to go for training camp, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Brown suffered an ankle injury during Summer League action, but as expected, the rookie first-round pick is good to go for training camp. The Missouri product averaged 15.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.6 made three-pointers, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks in 25.5 minutes per game during Summer League. Brown's three-point efficiency certainly stood out in college, and it appears his shot will translate to the next level, which should help him carve out a rotational spot to start 2023-24.... Brown went the locker room Sunday with an apparent foot injury during the first half of the Clippers' Las Vegas Summer League finale versus the Lakers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Clippers' Kobe Brown: Final pick in first round
Brown was selected by the Clippers with the 30th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. A four-year starter at Missouri, Brown averaged 15.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 threes as a senior en route to All-SEC honors. He's unlikely to be much of a contributor in Year 1, but if he can handle himself defensively, he could work his way into the end of head coach Ty Lue's rotation. Tomer Azarly@TomerAzarly3H agoNikola Jokic shot 9-of-32 from the field tonight. It’s the worst shooting game of his regular season career and 2nd worst including playoffs (min. 25 attempts). He missed some good ones but Ivica Zubac and the Clippers defended him well today.

Joker has 20 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists but has shot 8-for-28 tonight and has missed shots he normally makes in the paint. James Harden has 16 points and season-high 11 assists. Clips lead 99-93 with 3:36 left
