  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Battling groin pain

Pickett won't play in Saturday's Summer League game against the Pelicans due to left groin soreness, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports. The issue flared up during Thursday's game, and the Nuggets will cautiously keep Pickett out of its Summer League finale. The second-year guard should be healthy in time for training camp.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Not on injury report

Pickett (personal) isn't on the injury report for Monday's game against Memphis. Pickett was unavailable Saturday against the Trail Blazers but should be able to suit up after a one-game absence. However, he isn't a regular part of the Nuggets' rotation.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Out due to personal reasons

Pickett has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers. Pickett isn't a regular part of Denver's rotation, so his absence shouldn't have any fantasy implications.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Elevated for Wednesday's game

Denver recalled Pickett from the G League's Grand Rapids Gold on Wednesday. Pickett and Julian Strawther were both elevated ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Kings, but with Denver's rotation at full strength, neither is expected to play heavy minutes. Pickett hasn't played double-digit minutes since Nov. 19.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Scores eight points

Pickett totaled eight points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 19 minutes during Sunday's 121-109 loss to the Cavaliers. Pickett set multiple season highs Monday and made a positive impact off the bench for Denver during a rare loss. Reggie Jackson wasn't at his best, so this could be a position battle to watch until the Nuggets get Jamal Murray back from his hamstring injury.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Logs extended minutes in win

Pickett added five points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in a season-high 17 minutes Tuesday in a 111-108 win over the Clippers. With Reggie Jackson elevated to the starting role in Jamal Murray's (hamstring) absence, Pickett has seemingly assumed the backup point guard role, although he did not play in the last two games prior to Tuesday night. The 24-year-old is averaging 3.0 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.2 steals in 5.2 minutes over five games this season, but expect his minutes to trend upward until Murray returns.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Sees action in blowout

Pickett accumulated two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds across five minutes during Wednesday's 110-89 loss to Minnesota. Pickett made just his second appearance of the season in Wednesday's loss. While the rookie guard tallied his first two rebounds of 2023-24, he doesn't appear to be a regular part of Denver's rotation.

  • Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Stuffs stat sheet

Pickett tallied 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3PT, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and three blocks over 31 minutes of Wednesday's 96-91 Summer League loss to the Jazz. Pickett showed off his versatility Wednesday, finishing with a team-high eight assists while connecting on 66.7 percent of his field goal attempts. He also proved to be a menace on the interior, rejecting three shots and pulling down a pair of offensive rebounds. Though Pickett is a unique prospect given his frame and passing touch, the Penn State product will likely need a year at the G League level to develop before having a shot at getting consistent NBA minutes.
