Penda contributed four points (2-2 FG) in six minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game win over the Hornets.
Penda took advantage of a lopsided result, suiting up for the first time in the past four games. Friday's victory sees the Magic moving on to face the Pistons in the first round of the playoffs. Penda is unlikely to see any playing time in the series outside of blowout scenarios.

Magic's Noah Penda: Moves out of rotation
Penda (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Thursday in the Magic's 121-117 win over the Kings.
Penda dropped out of the rotation, ending a stretch of 13 consecutive appearances in which he averaged 3.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 14.6 minutes per contest. The Magic played Thursday's contest without Franz Wagner (ankle), Anthony Black (abdomen) and Jonathan Isaac (knee), so Penda will have difficulty regaining a foothold on the second unit if/when any of those injured players return to action.

Magic's Noah Penda: Fails to score again Tuesday
Penda totaled zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two assists across five minutes during Tuesday's 136-131 loss to the Cavaliers.
Penda failed to score for the third time in the past five games, continuing to play a modest role off the bench, despite all of the injuries in Orlando. In nine appearances over the past two weeks, he has averaged just 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game, leaving him outside the top-350 players during that time.

Magic's Noah Penda: Sees drop in minutes Tuesday
Penda attempted zero field goals while recording two rebounds, one assist and one steal over seven minutes during the Magic's 113-108 loss to the Thunder on Tuesday.
Despite the small amount of playing time, Penda's minus-16 point differential was second worst on the Magic behind Jett Howard (minus-23), and the former sat on the bench for the entire second half. It wasn't a great sign for Penda, who entered Tuesday's game averaging 17.0 minutes per game since March 3. The rookie second-rounder should still see some playing time off the bench for as long as Jonathan Isaac (knee), Franz Wagner (ankle) and Anthony Black (abdomen) are sidelined, but Penda's lack of playing time in the second half is worth monitoring.

Penda joined Osceola for its 128-111 win over the Cleveland Charge, during which he recorded 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes. The rookie second-rounder has logged just 15 minutes in three appearances over Orlando's last six games and isn't guaranteed to see the floor against the Pistons on Sunday.

Penda posted 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 19 minutes during Thursday's 124-97 loss to Charlotte.
Penda did nearly half of his scoring in garbage time after the Hornets got out to a large lead. He presumably saw more playing time Thursday due to the blowout and the fact that Franz Wagner sat out with an ankle injury. Penda has shown flashes so far in his rookie campaign, but he simply isn't getting enough consistent playing time to roster in most fantasy formats.

Over his last three outings, the rookie averaged 32.9 minutes per contest with 9.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 1.7 three-pointers, but he shot 34.6 percent from the field.
