Miller will start Tuesday's game against the Knicks.

Hornets' Brandon Miller: Drops 20 points
Miller produced 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Magic.
Miller started the second half of Sunday's game, as LaMelo Ball left for good after 15 minutes with an ankle injury. Hornets' Brandon Miller: Back to bench
Miller won't start Monday's game against the Magic, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Miller started eight straight appearances but will revert back to a bench role with Terry Rozier (groin) cleared to suit up following a nine-game absence. Miller should still garner a sizable reserve role, as he averaged 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds across five bench appearances to start the campaign.

Hornets' Brandon Miller: Scores career-high 29 points
Miller delivered 29 points (10-15 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes in Saturday's 122-108 loss to the Knicks.
Miller missed the previous game with a left ankle sprain but looked healthy versus New York and delivered a career-high mark in scoring. Miller started the season on the bench but has already secured a starting role, and while it remains to be seen whether he'll maintain that spot once Terry Rozier (groin) returns, he's doing enough to show he deserves more minutes for a struggling Hornets team. Miller is averaging 12.6 points per game in November and has scored in double digits in five straight contests.

Miller (ankle) is available for Friday's game versus the Bucks.
Miller has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday after missing Charlotte's previous game with a left ankle sprain. With Gordon Hayward (hamstring) and Miles Bridges (suspension) also available, it is worth monitoring how the Hornets' rotation plays out between the forwards. Hornets' Brandon Miller: Iffy for Tuesday
Miller (ankle) is listed as questionable to play Tuesday against Miami.
Miller had been listed as probable on the Hornets' initial injury report for Tuesday's game, but his status -- along with Gordon Hayward's (hamstring) -- has since been downgraded. Meanwhile, Terry Rozier (groin), Cody Martin (knee), James Bouknight (knee) and Frank Ntilikina (leg) will remain out Tuesday, while Miles Bridges is serving the final game of his suspension. Hornets' Brandon Miller: Will likely play Tuesday
Miller (ankle) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Heat.
Miller left Sunday's loss to the Knicks in the first half after spraining his ankle, but coach Steve Clifford said the rookie would be day-to-day. The youngster is apparently a quick healer and will likely be back in action Tuesday, which is a good sign for the shorthanded Hornets. With Terry Rozier (groin) still sidelined, Miller figures to draw another start if he's cleared to suit up. Miller has started four straight games with Rozier unavailable, averaging 10.8 points in 27.0 minutes during that stretch.

Hornets' Brandon Miller: Considered day-to-day
Hornets head coach Steve Clifford said after Sunday's 129-107 loss to the Knicks that Miller (ankle) is day-to-day, and he hopes the rookie will be back in action Tuesday against Miami, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
Before spraining his left ankle in the first half and exiting early, Miller got off to a hot start, scoring 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT) to go with three rebounds in 10 minutes. Miller made his fourth straight start in place of Terry Rozier (groin) and cleared 30 minutes in the previous three contests, but the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft is soon expected to see his playing time take a hit. Even if Miller is able to play Tuesday, the Hornets could get Rozier back for that same contest. If Rozier's absence lingers into following week, however, Miller could still be at risk of losing out on minutes during the Hornets' subsequent game against the Bucks on Friday, when Miles Bridges is eligible to make his season debut after he finishes his 30-game suspension Tuesday.
