Trent (elbow) is questionable for Friday's game against Philadelphia, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Trent has missed the last four games due to his elbow injury, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to suit up against the 76ers. If he's out, Jeff Dowtin and Malachi Flynn should continue to see increased run.... See More ... See Less

Raptors' Gary Trent: Officially ruled out
Trent (elbow) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup in Miami, Kayla Grey of TSN reports. As expected, Trent has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss a fourth straight game. Will Barton (ankle) also remains out, so Jeff Dowtin and Malachi Flynn should continue garnering increased roles.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Downgraded to doubtful
Trent (elbow) has been downgraded to doubtful for Tuesday's action against the Heat. Trent is expected to miss a fourth straight game Tuesday, with his next opportunity to play arriving Friday against the 76ers. In his presumed absence, Jeff Dowtin and Malachi Flynn should continue receiving extra run.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Questionable Tuesday
Trent (elbow) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Heat, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Trent has missed the last three games due to a sore right elbow, but he was a limited participant at Monday's practice session, signaling that he's trending in the right direction. While it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Tuesday, it wouldn't be surprising to see him back in action soon.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Limited at practice Monday
Trent (elbow) was a limited participant during Monday's practice, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Trent has missed three straight games due to right elbow soreness but appears to be getting closer to a return. However, he was limited to the non-contact parts of Monday's practice, so he still has a few hurdles to clear before Toronto can clear him for game action. His status for Tuesday's matchup against the Heat will likely surface when the the Raptors release their next injury report, which should drop sometime Monday afternoon.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Ruled out Sunday
Trent (elbow) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Trent will miss a third straight game due to right elbow soreness. If Scottie Barnes (wrist) is also ruled out, Will Barton, Jeff Dowtin and Malachi Flynn could be in store for increased roles versus Washington.... See More ... See Less -

Trent (elbow) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports. Trent has missed a pair of games with soreness in his right elbow and is at risk of missing a third straight Sunday. With Scottie Barnes (wrist) also questionable, Will Barton, Jeff Dowtin and Malachi Flynn could be in store for larger roles once again.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Unavailable Friday
Trent (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Trent was questionable ahead of Friday's matchup and will be unavailable for a second consecutive game due to his sore right elbow. Will Barton and Malachi Flynn should continue to see increased run for the Raptors on Friday.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Questionable against Detroit
Trent (elbow) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Trent was unable to practice Thursday and is in danger of missing a second consecutive game due to his sore right elbow. Raptors' Gary Trent: Out Wednesday
Trent (elbow) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Trent was a late addition to the injury report Wednesday with right elbow soreness and will end up joining Scottie Barnes (wrist) and Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) on the sidelines. Malachi Flynn, Will Barton and Thaddeus Young are likely candidates for expanded roles. Trent's next chance to take the floor will come Friday against Detroit.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Questionable Wednesday
Trent is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers due to right elbow stiffness. Trent was a late addition to the Raptors' injury report due to his elbow issue, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to suit up against Indiana. He's come off the bench in his last 10 appearances and has averaged 14.0 points and 3.2 rebounds in 27.1 minutes per game during that time.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: All-around performance in win
Trent finished Saturday's 122-107 victory over the Timberwolves with 19 points (8-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists and five steals across 29 minutes. Trent was efficient from the field en route to a third straight game in double figures and showcased his defensive prowess by recording a season-high five steals. The sharpshooter has been relegated to a reserve role with Toronto opting for a taller starting lineup recently, and his production has been sporadic, posting 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.4 assists in 26.4 minutes over his past nine appearances off the bench.... Raptors' Gary Trent: Finally gets going Thursday
Trent logged 23 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 128-111 victory over the Thunder. Trent finally landed some shots Thursday, reversing a recent trend that had seen him dropped in several competitive leagues. This is the kind of performance we regularly saw earlier in the season, and one managers would love to see more of moving forward. Perhaps he can build some momentum going forward, meaning managers should now view him as a hold for at least another game or two.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Inefficient in loss
Trent produced seven points (2-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 24 minutes during Wednesday's 108-100 loss to the Clippers. Trent's inconsistency continues, as he has scored fewer than 10 points in three of his last six outings. His production since being removed from the starting lineup has decreased by 6.4 points, 0.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 11.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Scores game-high 26 points
Trent supplied 26 points (11-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 overtime win over the Wizards. Trent bounced back after a poor showing Thursday, scoring a game-high 26 points, and adding a pair of steals for good measure. Despite moving back to the bench, Trent's ROS value should be just fine. In fact, there is a case to be made for his usage increasing following the change in role, given he isn't sharing the floor with the likes of Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet.... See More ... Raptors' Gary Trent: Provides spark in return to bench
Trent racked up 19 points (6-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 104-98 victory over the Bulls. Trent moved from the starting lineup back to the bench Tuesday, leading the Raptors second unit in scoring, rebounds and steals while finishing as one of five Toronto players with a double-digit scoring total. Trent has tallied 15 or more points with five or more rebounds on 10 occasions this season.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Moves to bench
Trent isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Bulls, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Fred VanVleet will replace Trent in the starting lineup Tuesday. The 23-year-old guard will come off the bench for the first time since Dec. 29.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Gary Trent: Shoots poorly in loss
Trent notched seven points (2-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Sunday's 118-93 loss to the Cavaliers. In his previous 16 contests, Trent had pumped in 19.6 points per game. However, Sunday was the first time since Jan. 14 that he failed to hit double figures. He had his second-worst shooting night of the season at 15.4 percent from the floor. Fred VanVleet, Toronto's leader in assists, has missed the last three games for personal reasons, but Trent's assist numbers have not seen a boost with six helpers in the last three games.... Raptors' Gary Trent: Pops for 18 points Thursday
Trent finished Thursday's 115-110 victory over the Pelicans with 18 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one assist and two steals in 37 minutes. After missing two straight games due to a calf injury, Trent was back on the court Thursday, shifting straight into the starting lineup. It remains to be seen whether he will stick in that role, given Fred VanVleet was a late scratch due to personal reasons. Although his overall value is tied to only a few categories, Trent should be able to maintain 12-team value for the rest of the season, no matter his assigned position in the rotation.... Raptors' Gary Trent: Starting Thursday
Trent will be part of the first unit for Thursday's game against the Pelicans, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Trent missed the Raptors' last two games with a calf injury but will regain his starting role. With Fred VanVleet (personal) out for the contest, Trent could see a larger usage rate.... See More ...
