Wizards' Julian Reese: Efficient 14 points in finale
Rotowire
Reese finished Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers with 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and three steals across 18 minutes.
Reese inked a two-year, two-way contract with the Wizards in February, and he certainly impressed during his brief time with Washington. He averaged 11.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.9 minutes per tilt over 13 games this season. Even so, Reese could have a harder time finding steady playing time on a healthier Washington team in 2026-27.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Headed to bench
Rotowire
Reese will come off the bench for Sunday's game in Cleveland.
While Reese will be running with the second unit Sunday, he should still see quality minutes as the only other big man available for Washington's regular-season finale. Reese has double-doubled in three of his past four outings.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Fills stat sheet Friday
Rotowire
Reese had 10 points (5-11 FG), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 140-117 loss to the Heat.
Reese has been one of the players who has taken the most advantage of his chance to play regularly for the Wizards in recent weeks. The big man fell four boards short of reaching what would've been a fourth consecutive double-double, but he remains a player to target ahead of the regular-season finale Sunday against the Cavaliers since he should continue to see a solid workload in a depleted Washington frontcourt.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Sitting out Friday
Rotowire
Reese (two-way) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Warriors.
After Reese delivered an impressive line (26 points, 17 rebounds, one block and one steal in 30 minutes) during a spot start in a 133-110 win over the Jazz on Wednesday, the Wizards will opt to keep the rookie big man inactive Friday with Alex Sarr (toe) and Tristan Vukcevic (back) returning from two- and one-game absences, respectively. Due to the timing of his signing a two-way deal with the Wizards, Reese is eligible to suit up for just 13 games at the NBA level. Since he's already been active for six games, Reese will be able to play in seven of the Wizards' remaining nine contests after Friday.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Not available Saturday
Rotowire
Reese (two-way) will be inactive Saturday for the Wizards' game in Boston.
After signing a two-year, two-way contract with the Wizards on Feb. 28, Reese suited up for four of the Wizards' ensuing five games, averaging 8.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per contest over that stretch. However, with the Wizards recently getting the likes of Alex Sarr and Tristan Vukcevic back from injuries, Reese will now be inactive Saturday for a third straight contest. Per the terms of his two-way deal, Reese is eligible to play in just nine of the Wizards' remaining 16 games of the season after Saturday's contest, so he'll be in line for some more planned absences down the stretch.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Not available Tuesday
Rotowire
Reese (two-way) is listed out for Tuesday's game against the Heat.
Reese has played at least 26 minutes in each of the Wizards' last four contests and has made three starts during that stretch, but because he's signed to a two-way contract, he has limited availability for the rest of the season. With the Wizards choosing to hold Reese out Tuesday, he'll be eligible to suit up for nine of the team's remaining 18 contests.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Not starting Sunday
Rotowire
Reese won't start Sunday's game against the Pelicans.
With Alex Sarr (hamstring) back in action, Reese will retreat to the second unit. However, the two-way player is likely to continue seeing meaningful minutes, as Sarr will operate under a heavy minutes restriction.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Records monster double-double
Rotowire
Reese ended with 18 points (5-7 FG, 8-8 FT), 20 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Thursday's 122-112 loss to Utah.
Reese's performances have been trending in the right direction. He came close to posting a double-double in the loss to the Magic on March 3, finishing with nine points and eight rebounds, but he bested those numbers by a massive margin in this loss. It's been only three appearances, but Reese is making a strong case to remain with the Wizards after signing a two-way deal Feb. 28, especially considering the lack of depth the Wizards have in the frontcourt right now.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Logs 28 minutes in debut
Rotowire
Reese fouled out of Monday's 123-118 loss to the Rockets after recording two points (1-3 FG), four rebounds and three steals in 28 minutes.
Reese was given the starting nod, suiting up for the first time in his career. With both Alex Sarr (hamstring) and Tristan Vukcevic (thigh) sidelined, Washington went deep into its rotation. If both players are to miss additional time, Reese could be worth a look as a short-term defensive streaming option.

Rotowire
The Wizards signed Reese to a two-way contract Saturday.
Reese appeared in 24 regular-season games (two starts) with the G League's Raptors 905 before landing a two-way deal with the Wizards. He averaged 8.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks over 17.5 minutes per game with Raptors 905.
