  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Available Sunday

Brown (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Spurs. Brown carried a questionable tag into Sunday's game due to an illness, but he will officially be available to play. Brown's availability should not impact the rotation, however, as he has seen just 11 minutes of action since Jan. 15.

  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Signs standard three-year deal

The Pacers converted Brown's (illness) two-way contract into a standard three-year NBA deal Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The new deal doesn't mean he'll have a larger role any time soon, but he will see a slight increase in pay for the remainder of the season.

  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Scores team-high 25

Brown racked up 25 points (11-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 122-110 win over Capital City. Brown continues to be a synergistic scorer inside the arc as opposed to a player lighting it up from deep or transitioning into a 3&D role. His plus-14 net rating was second best on the Mad Ants on Tuesday, trailing only starting point guard Elfrid Payton.

  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Set to ink another two-way deal

The Pacers plan to sign Brown to a two-way contract Tuesday, Tony East of SI.com reports. The 48th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, Brown spent his rookie season on a two-way deal with Indiana. He saw most of his game action in 2022-23 with the G League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants before he underwent season-ending surgery in late February to address a right tibia stress fracture. Brown returned to action during the Las Vegas Summer League and will look to carve out a bigger role with the Pacers in Year 2.

  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Gets season-ending surgery

The Pacers announced Monday that Brown is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to address a right tibia stress fracture. Though Indiana didn't offer up an official timeline for Brown's return, it's safe to conclude that the surgery will spell an end to his rookie season. The second-round pick out of Baylor first missed time in December on account of the stress fracture, but he was able to return to action in late January before suffering a setback approximately a month later. Since he logged just six appearances at the NBA level in his rookie season, the 19-year-old will likely be a candidate to play for the Pacers' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League if he's made a full recovery from his surgery by late June.

  • Pacers' Kendall Brown: Return timeline unclear

Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said Tuesday that Brown (lower leg) has been cleared to take part in more activities during practice, but the rookie remains without a clear timeline to make his season debut, Tony East of SI.com reports. Brown, a rookie second-round draft pick out of Baylor, has been sidelined since the second week of December with a stress reaction of his right tibia. Considering that Brown is one of the Pacers' two two-way players, he'll likely return to action with the G League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants rather than with the NBA team once he advances to the point of being cleared to play in games. Since Carlisle hasn't specified that Brown has been cleared for full-contact, 5-on-5 work, the 19-year-old's absence will most likely stretch into next week, if not longer.

However, until then, Brown's status will be handled game-by-game, with Friday's matchup against Portland marking the rookie's next chance to suit up.
