Jerome (illness) isn't on the playoff roster since his contract wasn't converted to an NBA deal, Dalton Johnson of NBA Sports Bay Area reports. Jerome won't make an appearance in the playoffs as a result, but he did compile a solid regular-season effort for Golden State, averaging 6.9 points, 3.0 assists and 1.7 rebounds over 18.1 minutes in his 45 appearances.... Warriors' Ty Jerome: Out Sunday
Jerome (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Portland. Jerome is set to spend his second straight game on the sidelines, but with Stephen Curry (hip) expected to play, Jerome wouldn't have been a major part of the rotation, anyway.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Late scratch Friday
Jerome is out for Friday's game versus the Kings due to an illness. Jerome has played only two minutes since March 11, so his absence is unlikely to affect the Warriors' rotation. His next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Portland.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Back in action Tuesday
Jerome will be active for the Warriors' final three games of the regular season but won't be eligible to play in the postseason, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Jerome remains signed to a two-way contract and doesn't look like he'll be converted to a standard NBA deal before the end of the league year, but he'll at least be able to finish the regular season on the court. The fourth-year guard last played for the Warriors on March 11, sitting out each of the team's subsequent 11 contests while he closed in on his allotted 50 active games as a two-way player. Since he's been active 47 times this season, he'll be able to suit up for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Friday's game in Sacramento and Sunday's game in Portland before being shut down. Jerome will become a restricted free agent this summer, but the Warriors could look to retain him on a standard NBA deal if the price is right.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Remains ineligible
Jerome wasn't available to play in Monday's 123-112 win over the Suns, and he won't be eligible to suit up for the Warriors until he has his two-way contract converted to an NBA deal, C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The Warriors' two two-way players -- Jerome and Anthony Lamb -- are in limbo at the moment now that both have been active for the maximum 50 games with the NBA team this season. After Golden State elected not to re-sign Lester Quinones after his 10-day deal expired, the team has an opening on the 15-man roster, which will more than likely be reserved for one of Lamb or Jerome. The other, however, will have to wait for Golden State to waive another player before being eligible to play again.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Unavailable Sunday
Jerome (not injury related) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Jerome will be kept inactive with Stephen Curry (lower leg) back in the mix. This will keep Jerome at 45 NBA games played, and he's eligible to play in only 50 under his current two-way contract.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Racks up 20 points in loss
Jerome registered 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Thursday's 124-111 loss to the Lakers. Jerome was the Warriors' second-leading scorer Thursday, finishing just two points behind team leader Klay Thompson. Jerome saw more court time than any other player in the game, logging 30 minutes for just the fourth time this season. He's averaged 19.3 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 triples in those contests, so there's certainly reason to see potential, though Jerome came into Thursday averaging just 18.0 minutes over his previous five contests despite the absence of Stephen Curry (lower leg) in each of those games.... Warriors' Ty Jerome: Settling into regular bench role
Jerome amassed six points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 19 minutes during Monday's 141-114 victory over the Thunder. After falling out of the rotation in late January, Jerome has appeared in the last three games as a serviceable reserve point guard behind Jordan Poole, who is starting in place of Stephen Curry (lower leg). Jerome also saw minutes before Curry's leg injury, so he may still claim a role once Curry is back, though it's not something to count on. Jerome still doesn't produce enough to crack fantasy relevance in most formats, averaging 7.0 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 17.8 minutes per game on the season.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Scores season-high 22 points
Jerome posted 22 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, eight assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes during Friday's 120-114 victory over the Cavaliers. Jerome made the most of his opportunities in Friday's start, shooting efficiently from the field and finding his teammates for buckets. This was a rare outburst of points from the Virginia product, and it marks his best scoring night of the 2022-23 campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Starting Friday
Jerome is starting at point guard in Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. The Warriors are resting their regular starters, so Jerome is set to see a much bigger workload than usual. He recorded four points, three rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes in his only other start this season.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Solid bench performance
Jerome recorded 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 112-107 victory over the Jazz. The team has played several different lineup combinations while dealing with multiple injuries. Although Jerome came off the bench in Wednesday's win, the guard made a lasting impact, especially in the fourth quarter. Over the past five games, Jerome has averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Efficient against Memphis
Jerome totaled 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 22 minutes during Sunday's 123-109 victory over the Grizzlies. Jerome came off the bench once again during Sunday's Christmas Day tilt, but he was efficient from the floor to lead the Warriors' bench players in scoring. He's had fairly well-rounded production over his last five appearances and has averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per game during that time.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Well-rounded contributor in loss
Jerome recorded 14 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 143-113 loss to the Nets. The Warriors fell behind by a significant margin once again Wednesday, which allowed Jerome to see increased run for the shorthanded club. He topped 20 minutes of playing time for a second consecutive game and scored in double figures once again while also posting a season-high mark in assists. Over his last five appearances, Jerome has averaged 9.0 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 20.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Unexpected source of scoring
Jerome notched 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and three assists in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 132-94 loss to the Knicks. Jerome put up double figures for just the second time in 16 contests this season, and he received more playing time Tuesday with Stephen Curry (shoulder), Andrew Wiggins (groin) and Donte DiVincenzo (illness) out of commission. The Virginia product has posted nine or more points and dished out three or more assists in three straight appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Back to bench Saturday
Jerome will come off the bench Saturday against the Celtics, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. With the Warriors' regulars, minus Andrew Wiggins (groin), back, Jerome will head back to the bench after starting Wednesday's contest. He's no longer a regular part of the rotation.... See More ... Warriors' Ty Jerome: Making first start Wednesday
Jerome is in the starting lineup Wednesday against Utah, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Jerome will make his first start of the season for the Warriors, who are without Stephen Curry (ankle), Andrew Wiggins (groin) and Draymond Green (hip) on Wednesday. Jerome has tallied 5.7 points and 1.9 assists across 10 previous appearances this year.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Posts 18 points in 32 minutes
Jerome had 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and five assists over 32 minutes during Friday's 114-105 loss to the Pelicans. Jerome stepped into a larger role Friday as the Warriors gave their stars the night off. We have seen flashes from Jerome in the past, but at this point, he is simply too buried on the depth chart to have any chance at putting up sustainable value. As a point of reference, prior to this game, Jerome had failed to exceed 16 minutes in any game all season.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Ty Jerome: Snags two-way deal
Jerome has signed a two-way contract with the Warriors. Jerome figures to splits his time between the NBA and G League Warriors in 2022-23. While he may not receive consistent playing time at the top level, he should be featured when in the G League and could occasionally rack up minutes when players rest or miss time.... See More ... Warriors' Ty Jerome: Joins Golden State
The Warriors signed Jerome on Tuesday, Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com reports. Jerome was traded to the Rockets by the Thunder in a multi-player trade, but he was let go by Houston in the aftermath of the deal. As expected, he'll join the Warriors for training camp, but he's unlikely to make the talented roster, so he may wind up in the G League to start the 2022-23 campaign. The 2019 first-round pick appeared in 48 games for Oklahoma City last year and averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Ty Jerome: Let go by Houston
