  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Logs just five minutes in loss

Carter supplied zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in five minutes during Wednesday's 108-105 loss to the Cavaliers.

Carter failed to score in five minutes, continuing his disappointing season. Seen as a potential starting option coming into the season, Carter has failed to carve out a consistent role. In 13.7 minutes per game, he is averaging just 5.1 points and 1.2 assists, leaving him well outside the top 300 in standard leagues.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Hits double-digit scoring

Carter ended Monday's 136-126 victory over the Hawks with 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 25 minutes.

Carter stepped into a substantial role with Alex Caruso (toe) inactive. His 25 minutes played marks a season high, and Carter's lack of sizable workloads is the major limiting factor precluding him from being a viable streaming candidate for threes.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Gets buckets in win

Carter totaled 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt) and one rebound over 24 minutes during Saturday's 122-116 win over the Spurs.

Carter and Ayo Dosunmu (21 points) delivered a scoring punch off the bench with the Bulls effectively using an eight-man rotation sans Patrick Williams (ankle). Carter hadn't appeared in Chicago's last two contests, seemingly as DNP-CDs. The 28-year-old is shooting just 36.2 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from deep across 39 appearances for the Bulls this season, but perhaps Saturday's scoring performance will yield momentum.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Cleared to play Saturday

Carter (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the 76ers.

Carter was carrying a probable tag prior to this update with a minor ankle issue, but he'll give it a go Saturday. Despite lots of injuries in Chicago this season, Carter is averaging only 14.3 minutes in December.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Probable for Saturday

Carter is probable for Saturday's game against the 76ers due to a right ankle sprain.

Carter hasn't yet missed a game this season, and he'll likely be able to suit up despite his ankle issue Saturday. He's posted single-digit scoring totals in three of his last four appearances, averaging 4.5 points and 1.5 assists in 15.0 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Tallies 10 points in victory

Carter produced 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in 17 minutes during Wednesday's 124-108 victory over the Lakers.

Carter was held scoreless in back-to-back appearances against the Heat last week, but he's bounced back since then with double-digit scoring performances in his last two outings. Even though he's been more productive on the scoreboard recently, he's still scored in double figures just three times over his last 21 appearances. During that time, he's averaged 4.5 points and 1.2 assists in 13.8 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Leads bench scoring in loss

Carter added nine points (3-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt), two assists, a rebound and a steal over 15 minutes in Tuesday's 114-106 loss to Denver.

Carter has been one of Chicago's more reliable scorers among the second unit, dropping at least eight points in nine games so far this season, but his issue has been efficiency (38.8 percent from the field). With injuries to Zach LaVine (foot) and Alex Caruso (ankle) boosting his playing time, Carter must be able to capitalize on the opportunity before he drops on the depth chart again.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Eight points in 16 minutes

Carter chipped in eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 loss to the Celtics.

With Zach LaVine (foot) and DeMar DeRozan (ankle) leaving the contest early, Carter saw a few extra minutes in the loss, continuing the Bulls' terrible start to the season. To this point, they have won just five games and are projected to be one of the worst teams come April. Carter has not been able to carve out a consistent role and sits well outside the top 300 in standard formats.

Carter was sharp, representing Chicago's third-leading scorer Saturday. No other member of the second unit exceeded five points. The 28-year-old is a career 40.0 percent shooter on 3.0 threes per game, profiling him at Chicago's top offensive backcourt option off the bench.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Leads bench scoring in loss

Carter notched 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal over 15 minutes during Wednesday's 114-105 loss to the Mavericks.

It's the second game in a row with Carter scoring in double-digits and leading the bench in points. He shot just 2-for-12 in his first three games but has turned that around and has made 10-of-14 shots over the last two contests. Carter played just 15 minutes in Wednesday's game, but he could see an uptick in playing time if he's able to continue to contribute efficiently off the bench.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Leads bench in scoring

Carter provided 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 18 minutes during Monday's 112-105 win over the Pacers.

Carter snapped out of a 2-for-12 shooting funk over his first three games. He represented the Bulls fourth-leading scorer Monday, which is more of a testament to Chicago's 30th-ranked effective field-goal percentage as opposed to Carter's breakout performance. Carter will look to carry his momentum into Wednesday's showdown versus Dallas.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Racks up eight points off bench

Carter posted eight points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes during Sunday's 105-102 preseason loss to Milwaukee.

Carter faced his former team during his first appearance in a Bulls uniform Sunday, and he managed to generate some decent production off the bench. The 28-year-old is a candidate to draw some starts for his new team, but it was Coby White who got the nod with the first unit in the preseason opener. Carter made 81 appearances (39 starts) for the Bucks last year and averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 22.3 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Jevon Carter: Headed to Chicago

Carter agreed to a three-year, $20 million deal with the Bulls on Friday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Carter was previously with the Bucks and is coming off a career season, posting averages of 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.8 three-pointers. The Bulls were also able to re-sign Coby White to a new deal, and it's looking like both Carter and White could potentially have significant roles in Chicago's backcourt. Carter can be a solid source of assists, three-pointers and steals when the minutes are there, and Chicago could be a good spot for his fantasy appeal depending on how the rest of the roster fills out.
