Rockets' Dante Exum: Returns to Rockets
Exum signed an undisclosed contract Saturday to return to Houston, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

Rockets' Dante Exum: Officially out for season
Exum (calf) is out for the season, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Exum suffered a calf injury in early January and hasn't played since. He'll finish the 2020-21 season with just six games played while on the Cavaliers. Exum remains one of the league's most injury-prone players. Since being drafted No. 5 overall in 2014, he's appeared in just 245 games. He is a free agent this offseason, and he may struggle to find a suitor willing to give him an extended contract.

Rockets' Dante Exum: Still in walking boot
Exum (calf) remains in a walking boot and is without a firm timetable to return, Ben DuBose of USA Today reports.
The oft-injured guard hasn't played since early January, back when he was member of the Cavs, and coach Stephen Silas didn't sound optimistic that he'll be available anytime soon. With the All-Star break approaching, 2020-21 is shaping up to be another season mostly lost to injury for Exum.

Rockets' Dante Exum: Moved to Rockets
Exum (calf) was sent to the Rockets in the blockbuster move that resulted in James Harden landing in Brooklyn, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Exum is expected to remain sidelined until early March due to a strained right calf, and even once he returns, he likely won't have a significant role with the Rockets. At best, he'd occupy a backup point guard role, but he's struggled to do that effectively in the past.

Cavaliers' Dante Exum: Out 6-to-8 weeks
The Cavaliers announced Wednesday that Exum (calf) will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported Tuesday that the strained right calf Exum sustained in the opening minute of Monday's loss to the Magic would sideline the guard for 1-to-2 months, but the Cavaliers' own report provides a tighter timeline for his return. The calf strain is just the latest in a long line of a major injuries for the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, who has played more than 45 games just once in the past five seasons. Even if he experiences no snags in his rehab, Exum could remain sidelined until the All-Star break in early March.

Cavaliers' Dante Exum: Ruled out Wednesday
Exum (calf) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Magic.
Exum strained his right calf early in Monday night's game and did not return, so his absence Wednesday isn't a surprise. With the Cavs playing on the front end of a back-to-back, it's very possible Exum could be looking at a multigame absence.
