Irving provided 16 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, three rebounds, three blocks and two steals across 30 minutes in Monday's 127-104 win over the Pacers. Dallas ended a four-game losing streak in emphatic fashion, and it didn't require big minutes or production from either Irving or Luka Doncic (25 points in 28 minutes) to easily dispatch the shorthanded Pacers. Though the suppressed playing time took a huge night off the table for Irving, he still paid dividends for managers by providing efficient scoring to go with ample defensive production. The three blocks were one short of matching a season high.... See More ... See Less

Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Solid production in loss
Irving registered 18 points (5-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Sunday's 110-104 loss to the Hornets. The veteran guard has been struggling to get his shot to fall over the last week or so while dealing with a nagging foot injury and bouncing in and out of the lineup, but Irving has been able to supplement his scoring on the defensive end and has recorded at least one steal and one block in three straight games. He'll be flying solo Monday in Indiana, as Luka Doncic picked up his 16th technical foul of the season against Charlotte and faced an automatic one-game suspension. The last two times Irving played without Doncic, he poured in 38 points against the Lakers before laying 28 on the Grizzlies.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Struggles from field in return
Irving recorded 18 points (6-16 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Friday's 117-109 loss to Charlotte. Irving might have ended just one rebound and three assists away from recording a triple-double, but he also needed 16 shots to score 18 points. Irving has played in only four of Dallas' last eight games, and while he has been very good when available, those absences undoubtedly hurt fantasy managers, especially in leagues that are already in the postseason.... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Good to go against Charlotte
Irving (foot) is available for Friday's game versus the Hornets. Irving has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday after missing the team's previous game with right foot soreness. The star guard is averaging 31.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 37.8 minutes across his last five appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Questionable vs. Hornets
Irving (foot) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Hornets, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports. Irving remains plagued by right foot soreness, and he's already missed four of the past six games. If the point guard needs another game off, Josh Green and Jaden Hardy should continue seeing extra usage.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Ruled out Wednesday
Irving (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Warriors. Although Irving appeared in the Mavericks' last two games, he'll be unavailable for Wednesday's matchup after being seen in a walking boot following Monday's loss to the Grizzlies. The Mavericks downplayed the severity of Irving's injury after Monday's game, so it's possible he'll be able to return for Friday's matchup against Charlotte. Meanwhile, the team's backcourt will get a boost Wednesday with Luka Doncic (thigh) returning to action, but Jaden Hardy and Josh Green could continue to see elevated minutes since Irving will be sidelined.... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Officially questionable
Irving (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against Golden State. Irving missed three straight games due to a right foot sprain before suiting up for each of Dallas' past two matchups, but he tweaked the injury during Monday's loss to Memphis and may be sidelined again. Luka Doncic (thigh) is also questionable, so if both superstars are sidelined, Jaden Hardy and Josh Green would be candidates for increased usage again.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Tweaks foot injury in loss
Irving was spotted with a walking boot on his right foot following Monday's 112-108 loss to the Grizzlies, but he said afterward that the boot was "precautionary" and added that he plans to "exhaust all options in the next 48 hours" to avoid missing any game action, Callie Caplan of The Dallas Morning News reports. While Irving downplayed the situation, he noted that he tweaked the injury to the big toe on his right foot in the third quarter Monday, when Grizzlies defender Dillon Brooks stepped on him. Given that Irving missed three games earlier in the month with the same injury, he should be viewed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, despite his optimism about his health. The eight-time All-Star wasn't forced to exit Monday's game early with the injury, and he finished with 28 points (10-24 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 33 minutes.... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Scores 28 points with no assists
Irving had 28 points (10-24 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Monday's 112-108 loss to the Grizzlies. Irving led Dallas in scoring in the contest, but he failed to record a single assist for the third time this season. His work as a distributor is down overall this year, as his 5.5 assists per game ranks as his lowest mark since the 2017 campaign. Irving nonetheless continues to thrive as a scorer, averaging 32.7 points on 53.1 percent shooting from the field -- including 44.2 percent from three-point range -- through six games in March.... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Available Monday
Irving (foot) is available for Monday's game against the Grizzlies. Irving was questionable ahead of Monday's matchup, but he's been cleared to suit up for a second consecutive matchup. It seems unlikely that he'll face limitations against the Grizzlies since he posted 38 points, six rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes during Friday's game against the Lakers.... See More ... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Questionable against Grizzlies
Irving (foot) is questionable for Monday's game against Memphis. Irving returned from a three-game absence Friday against the Lakers and didn't appear to have any limitations, as he tallied 38 points, six rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes. He's still dealing with a sore right foot, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him suit up against the Grizzlies.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Leads team to big win
Irving (foot) chipped in 38 points (14-23 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes during Friday's 111-110 victory over the Lakers. Irving showed little rust in his return from a three-game absence due to a foot injury, as he led both teams in scoring while shooting efficiently from two-point range, from beyond the arc and from the charity stripe. The star point guard also contributed six boards and six assists, the most significant of which came on his pass to Maxi Kleber with seconds remaining on the clock that resulted in a game-winning, buzzer-beating triple. Irving has scored 30-plus points in four of his past five contests and is shooting 55.7 percent from the field over that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Good to go Friday
Irving (foot) is available for Friday's game against the Lakers. Irving is officially back after three straight games on the sidelines. Luka Doncic (thigh) remains out for the Mavericks, so we can expect Irving to see heavy usage in what projects to be a great matchup.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Participates in shootaround
Irving (foot) participated in Friday's shootaround, Callie Caplan of The Dallas Morning News reports. Irving fully practiced Thursday and is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Lakers after missing the last three games with a sore right foot. The 30-year-old's participation in the Mavericks' shootaround is encouraging, and he'll likely see a slight usage increase if he's available Friday since Luka Doncic (thigh) has been ruled out.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Officially questionable
Irving (foot) is questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers. Irving has missed three straight games with a sore right foot but managed to log a full practice Thursday before being tabbed questionable. With Luka Doncic (thigh) ruled out, Irving would receive a usage bump if active. If not, Jaden Hardy, Frank Ntilikina and McKinley Wright would likely handle the brunt of the backcourt work.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Fully practices Thursday
Irving (foot) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, and his status for Friday's game against the Lakers is yet to be determined, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Both Irving and Luka Doncic (thigh) practiced Thursday, so the elite playmakers could both return at the same time. If that's the case, Jaden Hardy and Josh Green would go back to having relatively muted roles within the Dallas offense. Irving has missed three straight games with right foot soreness.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Out Wednesday
Irving (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Irving will be joining Luka Doncic (thigh) and Tim Hardaway (calf) on the sidelines Wednesday evening, so it's looking like another Jaden Hardy kind of night. The rookie guard has scored 20-plus over the past two games while logging major minutes and chipping in a little bit of everything, so he's an attractive streamer. Irving's next opportunity to play will come Friday against the Lakers.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Pessimistic for Wednesday's status
Irving (foot) said it's "not looking good" for him to play Wednesday against the Spurs, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports. Irving has missed the last two games due to right foot soreness and is questionable for Wednesday's matchup, but he doesn't appear to be trending in the right direction. With Luka Doncic (thigh) unavailable against San Antonio, Jaden Hardy and Josh Green will likely see extended run again Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Questionable for Wednesday's game
Irving (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Irving has missed back-to-back games due to a sore right foot and is in danger of missing a third. Luka Doncic (thigh) has already been ruled out, while Tim Hardaway (calf) and Christian Wood (foot) are questionable, so it appears like Jaden Hardy and Josh Green could be in store for expanded workloads again.... Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Ruled out Monday
Irving (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Grizzlies. Irving continues to deal with a sore right foot and will be sidelined for a second consecutive game. With Luka Doncic (thigh) also sidelined, Jaden Hardy and Tim Hardaway should see increased run in the Mavericks' backcourt once again.... See More ... See Less
