The Rockets have picked up their option on small foward Kostas Papanikolaou, according to ESPN, which is further reporting that the $5 million he is due is not guaranteed.
Papanikolaou played extensively last season until sidelined by an ankle injury. He averaged 4.2 points in 18 minutes per game, but shot just 35 percent from the field on the year.
