Gary Neal has been doing a lot of missing against the Thunder in the Western Conference finals, but he's missed on something new -- his flight to Oklahoma City for Game 6.

Via the San Antonio Express-News, Neal missed the team's flight to OKC on Tuesday because of an illness.
Guard Gary Neal was not on board the Spurs’ flight from San Antonio to Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon, coach Gregg Popovich said.

“He’s not feeling well,” Popovich told the Express-News.

Asked if it was anything serious, Popovich said, “No.”

Neal struggled in Game 5 shooting 0-6 from the floor in 15 minutes off the San Antonio bench. He was 0-3 from 3-point range. One of the misses was a very questionable deep 3 that ended up airballing and drew an angry look from Popovich.

Despite his struggles, Neal is a key part of the Spurs second unit. He adds a scoring option, runs backup point guard and is a threat to hit a cluster of shots at any time.

He's averaging 7.5 points and 1.4 assists per game in the Western Conference finals but is shooting only 37.5 percent from the field.

His status for Game 6 is unknown.
