Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Moves to 60-day IL
O'Hoppe (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.
The rookie catcher said earlier this week that he hopes to be able to return on the early end of his 4-to-6 month timeline, so there's a chance we see him in September. Matt Thaiss is the top Angels catcher to roster right now, with Max Stassi (hip) due back sometime in May.

Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Hopes to return in 2023
O'Hoppe (shoulder) underwent surgery Tuesday and said he hopes to be able to return on the early end of his 4-to-6-month timeframe, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
O'Hoppe was diagnosed with a torn labrum in his left shoulder last week. The rookie catcher was off to a strong start before the injury, slashing .283/.339/.547 with four homers and 13 RBI over 59 plate appearances. O'Hoppe has a chance to return late this season, but he's a tough hold in redraft leagues given his lengthy recovery period.

Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Undergoing surgery Tuesday
O'Hoppe (shoulder) is set to undergo surgery on his torn labrum Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
O'Hoppe is expected to miss 4-to-6 months after being diagnosed with the tear over the weekend. The 23-year-old could return to the Angels before the end of the season, but is just as likely -- if not more so -- to not return to the Angels in 2024.
