Reds' Eric Yang: Receives first call-up
The Reds selected Yang's contract from Triple-A Louisville on Monday. He'll join the Reds' 26-man active roster as a replacement for backup catcher Austin Wynns, who was placed on the 10-day injured list after suffering a right teres major tear in Sunday's loss to the Rays. Yang, 26, is a glove-first catcher who slashed .164/.330/.205 over 28 games between Louisville and Double-A Chattanooga this season.
