Rangers' Jacob deGrom: Extends throwing to 90 feet
DeGrom (elbow) has extended his flat-ground throwing to 90 feet, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
It's the next step in deGrom's throwing progression as he continues his rehab from Tommy John surgery. Everything seems to have gone as expected to this point with deGrom, who hopes to rejoin the Rangers' rotation at some point late in the season.

Rangers' Jacob deGrom: Moves to 60-day IL
The Rangers placed deGrom (elbow) on the 60-day injured list Friday.
It's a procedural transaction for deGrom as he continues his rehab from last June's Tommy John surgery. The 35-year-old began a throwing program in mid-February but still has a long road ahead as he builds his arm strength back up.

Rangers' Jacob deGrom: Kicks off throwing program
DeGrom (elbow) said that he began a throwing program Monday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.
DeGrom rested Tuesday before he resumed throwing Wednesday, and he may continue to limit himself to a few throwing sessions per week as he begins a slow ramp-up process from last June's Tommy John surgery. The Rangers are hoping for deGrom and co-ace Max Scherzer (back) to make midsummer returns from their respective surgeries, though no firm target date will likely be in place for either pitcher until they advance to the point in their rehab that they're facing hitters. The 35-year-old deGrom hasn't pitched more than 100 innings in any season since 2019 and will fall short of that threshold once again in 2024 while he's likely out for at least the first half of the campaign.

Rangers' Jacob deGrom: Will resume throwing in spring
DeGrom (elbow) said Saturday that he plans to begin throwing again in the spring, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
DeGrom didn't specify the exact date he'll start his program, but he added that he's happy with the progress he's made in his recovery. The 35-year-old righty underwent Tommy John surgery in July to repair a torn UCL in his right elbow and is projected to rejoin the Rangers late in the summer.
